The Skymint Reserve in-house brand is a prime example of "quality over quantity." Its THC % are mostly listed in the low 20s even for Indicas, but the flowers are more beautiful / flavorful / euphoric than most flower listed in the 25-32% range. If you are looking for a dispensary to meet your medical needs, definitely look further. If you don't have a card, but have the provisional letter, just don't bother coming here. My first time at Skymint was very positive at first, but when I gave the manager (with short blond hair) my provisional medical letter it was clear that they are not aware of the Michigan and federal medical marijuana laws. As the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) states online, "Effective today [May 1, 2019], medical marijuana patients who apply for their marijuana registry card online may now use their approval email as a temporary substitute for a *valid registry card* in order to obtain their medication the *same day* they are approved". I was told by the same manager that my provisional letter could not be used for the discount on recreational items. I pushed back as I was fully aware of the laws, but I was met with variations of the same sentence over and over again that it wasn't valid. I felt very mansplained to as I was assumed to not be aware of the laws. My provisional letter happens to be out of state in Illinois where I have used the letter countless times at multiple dispensaries. However, Michigan allows for state reciprocity with Illinois medical patients. Still, the manager countered that the card is needed for reciprocity. The 2nd link in 'references' details this information. The manager has very good composure, but in my opinion, that isn't a good trait when someone is upset at the establishment you represent. This was not a good impression for my first time at Skymint, and I can confidently say that I will not be coming back here for my medical needs as patients already pay too much for their marijuana medication. Everytime I come here there is a long wait and the whole parking lot is full. I also have been ripped off by the budtenders. They tell me my total is $50 when the items were on sale. The bud tender was trying to charge me more and pocket my cash. Don't trust them with your cash and if you do make sure your double check what you're being charged for. read more
