There is a huge selection of fun stuff that if I had more room in my carry on, I might have went hog wild. What didn't help was that I came here in November so there were Christmas things for sale already and I love good Christmas decorations. The store is also fairly large so you can roam and take a look at a lot of different things. There are also quite a few entrances/exits, which seemed odd for shoplifting reasons but I appreciated being able to walk out onto a different side of the street. I will say that stuff was super pricey in here, but if it is mostly hand made by artists, I understand. I also live in an overpriced tourist city, so I understand the mark up. I will say that I thought the staff was a bit aloof. Like they didn't care to answer any questions or make any conversation, or even say hello. That was fine. I like being left alone when I shop anyway. Aloof is fine but rudeness isn't. When we left one of the employees was super rude and slammed the door on us (someone else had left it open and she thought it was us so she said something and slammed the door) so that left a bad taste in my mouth but I will say this store is still pretty cute and I'd come back.

When we first walked in, the owner, immediately asked if we had purchased my engagement ring there. When we politely said no and explained that we were only there to look for a wedding band, he repeatedly questioned why we had gone somewhere else, asked to see my engagement ring, and told us that he could make a better ring than the one I was wearing. We tried multiple times to redirect the conversation because we were there specifically to find a wedding band for my fiancé. He already knew exactly what style he wanted and pointed out a ring he liked, simply asking if it could be made slightly smaller and if the metal could be a little brighter. Instead of helping us find an option, the worker told him he was being "too particular" and made comments implying that his preferences were feminine. We found those comments extremely unnecessary and disrespectful. The engagement ring was brought up several more times. We explained that we chose to purchase it from a family friend because we were offered a better price and a higher-quality diamond and gold for our budget. Rather than respecting our decision, he continued to challenge it and explain why he would have done things differently. At one point, he also began talking about how he has never lost a sale and how he does "millions and millions" of dollars in sales across different areas of the country. While we have no issue with someone being successful, it felt very out of place and unnecessary in a conversation where we were simply trying to find a wedding band. Ultimately, we decided not to purchase from the store. It wasn't because we were expecting anything unreasonable, we simply wanted a specific style and were looking for someone who would listen to what we wanted and help us find the best option. We absolutely love my engagement ring, and we were excited to find my fiancé's wedding band. Unfortunately, the repeated comments about our engagement ring, the questioning of our choices, and especially the comments toward my fiancé made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A jewelry purchase is supposed to be an exciting experience, especially when you're shopping for something as meaningful as a wedding band. We left feeling frustrated rather than excited, and unfortunately, we will not be returning.

I visited their Jackson store in late July and was shown what I believed to be a sterling silver women's Teton ring. The sample was a size 9, and my finger is nearly 4 sizes smaller. The saleswoman told me the price was $435, and I put down a $100 deposit so they could make the ring in my size and ship it to me. When I got home and checked their website, I discovered that what I had been shown was actually a men's ring--information never disclosed to me in the store. The women's version of the ring, which is nearly identical and only 1mm narrower, was listed for $190 less, at $245. I immediately asked for a price adjustment, giving the style number of the women's ring on the website. Instead of doing the honest thing, the owner, Carolyn, flat-out refused. What followed was a string of unprofessional and hostile emails, where she tried to justify the overcharge by twisting details and even accused me of saying things I never said. She first invoiced me for $365, then changed it to $145 only after I repeatedly called out her dishonesty. To make matters worse, she somehow obtained my cell phone number a month later (which I never provided) and began texting me unsolicited photos of the ring. Unbelievably, she even asked me to text her my credit card number -- something no secure or professional business would ever do. That alone speaks volumes. The bottom line: they tried to charge me hundreds more than their own advertised price, failed to disclose key information, and then doubled down instead of making it right. In addition, the request for my credit card by text, and even obtaining my cell number without consent, this business has shown itself to be both dishonest and unsafe. Needless to say, I never purchased the ring after all this unnecessary drama. They tried to take advantage of me, as is clearly their business practice--and as outlined in other reviews. In my experience, this is not a business that treats customers fairly or ethically. If you're considering jewelry in Jackson, protect yourself and shop elsewhere.
