The room is on the first floor so the shade and curtains were closed immediately. The A/C works well so turned it off for a bit. It's a cozy room in which to relax after the long days. The shower door doesn't close tight so I mention it. I lived with it for this stay. The front desk staff were pleasant. When checking in confirm the housekeeping schedule. No one came in to get trash or refresh towels for 2 days. This hotel is a good location for tea area. I got a snack bag upon checking and the 8oz bottle of water was perfect.

Anyone in their right mind would call for help and I get yelled at?! He had absolutely no cares that my family was in physical danger! This is not a safe place. It is not quiet. It is NOT worth saving a little bit of money! Keep yourself safe and go somewhere else. Also note on all Google reviews, people have LEGITIMATE complaints and the management just denies. The common trend: terrible rooms, HORRENDOUS customer service, people feel unsafe and unsanitary.

I asked to see if I could see the room before I checked in, already concerned about the lack of internet since this was a work trip. She took me to a room that smelled of urine. I of course refused the room. After seeing another room, a guest at the hotel came to the desk to let the clerk know that she could not access the internet in her room, so I decided to find a different hotel where I could work comfortably. I asked for a refund for the 2-day stay since I had never checked in. The photographs on the booking site had to have been from when the hotel was first built decades ago. The hotel refused my refund and charged me $164 for 1 day. The manager was not on duty that day, so I reached out to her a few days later. She denied that the internet was not working (but later admitted to the call with the clerk) and said that I just didn't want to stay at the hotel. It was a horrible experience and I would never recommend. I traveled 10 miles to Cypress and checked into a much nicer and cleaner hotel.
