They had them organized in different sections like modern, ergonomic, comfort, etc. They do have a wide range of chairs from gaming ones, executive boardroom, to ones that are more for style than practicality. They didn't have every single chair they had on the shelf available for you to try unfortunately. They also had a weird wall of chairs that were Hollywood Squares style so there was no chance of getting up close to them lol. Still was an okay shopping experience. There was lots of space to browse and the staff let us take our time with it.

The staff have even suggested more affordable items which I found to be very honest and nice. The bad: it is difficult to find a staff member. There doesn't seem to be enough of them on the floor and rarely is their more than one cash open which makes for long lineups. I'll continue to shop at this location because it is clean and easy to navigate.

The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

I was wearing hiking shoes and sat in the chair she picked out one that I tried on a carpeted surface. I thought it was sturdy enough and the tag said it was $139 which I thought was a steal. There was a mesh chair that interested me more but passed on the $300 price tag. Too good to be true, I bought it anyway. I noticed in the store the lever for locking the tilt and height adjustment was installed on the left side of the chair. So when I got it home I naturally slid out since I was on a wood floor and at that point it I realized it was installed backwards and the handle should have been on the right. Next day I took the screws out, moved the lever to the right and I could suddenly sit down in it without falling out of it. Besides throwing it in my suv, I did little to assemble this thing. These items are final sale, so make sure you have assessed the value of the floor models some designer returned before walking out with something you with you never bought.

Hideaway stands out from the pack of other antique stores in this area for a few reasons. First, it's huge and spacious. There's room to move and no risk of feeling cramped as with most of the other places on this stretch of queen. Second, the owner is friendly and helpful, but also leaves you to wander about and poke at things in your own time rather than trying to push assistance on you. Finally, the pieces here are outstanding and reasonably priced for what they are. There's definitely an amazing ceiling lamp priced at $1400, but most of the furniture is much more reasonable.
