There are zillions of mattress store options out there, both in person and online. Where to begin? So I began by trying to seek out a locally owned and operated store. That's how I found this place. I ended up being helped by the store's owner; I wish I could remember his name. He was patient with me and not pushy. I already knew I wanted memory foam so he let me take my time trying out different kinds (yes, when mattress shopping you have to actually lie down onto mock beds in the store. So embarrassing). When I picked one (can't remember the model but it is cream-colored with green stitching of images of bamboo), the guy encouraged me to buy a mattress cover for it. I hadn't been planning on buying of those; was he trying to upsell me something I didn't need? He calmly explained what the mattress cover does (keeps moisture, dust, tiny bugs, etc. off your mattress) and showed me a sample of the fabric stretched over top a glass of water. He tipped the glass upside down and the fabric stayed sealed, not a drop spilled. So I bought the mattress cover for an extra $50 approximately, and now years later I'm very glad I did. Now how to get the mattress to my 2nd floor apartment in a different part of town? The guy (sorry again that I can't remember his name) offered to deliver it personally in his own truck for an extra 40 or so bucks in cash. Deal! He came to my place the very next day and helped me to set it up, and kudos for him for managing to make that situation as professional and comfortable as possible (strange man in my bedroom is generally a big no-no). The goal with a mattress is that you won't need to buy another one for many years, but if I ever have a friend who is looking I will send them straight to Louisville Mattress.

The surface of my dresser is stained from a liquid ring from a rock lamp that started to sweat. We always bring our own tape measure but staff were walking around the showroom with them. We needed a very specific size for our living room. I like that their website also items that are available in their showroom. We paid to have our couch delivered. Delivery staff notified us of delivery the day prior. I appreciated the 30 minute heads up prior to delivery on that day. The two men that delivered our couch had attention to detail & were quick in the process. Thank you for a great buying experience!

You know how the old saying goes if sounds too good to be true it most likely is. My wife and I went to overstock on Saturday the 18th and at checkout we inquired about hauling away our old furniture when they deliver our new and we were told to just discuss it with the drivers and work out an arrangement with them. The manager told us that he had never heard of anyone being turned down. We spoke to the delivery drivers, and they were as frustrated as we were as this has happened 5 or 6 times in the last week and wished the salespeople would quit telling customers this as it just isn't so. The delivery drivers were very professional and just trying to their jobs no complaints. Once we found out that the old furniture was going to be left on our front lawn because they could not take it I refused the shipment. This gets more ridiculous as customer support for LOW is telling me how sorry she is with no resolution. I told her if you are going to apologize for something it should follow with an action to show sincerity of the apology. She followed up by telling me there would be a 10% restocking fee I am assuming that was the nice gesture from LOW. So now I have no new furniture and before the 18th of July I had 1900.00 which now I have 1578.24. There is two things I would like to see happen from this review as well as the complaint I have made with the BBB. First, I would like the remaining balance that LOW stole from me returned secondly, I would like LOW to explain more clearly to their future customers what they are getting into. This would avoid these types of situations. For those that do happen to read this just a suggestion if you have old furniture, you need removed make sure you get a CRYSTAL-CLEAR explanation of how, who, and when it will be removed.
