All measurements of the building including doors, hallways and elevator were taken and given to the store. Fast forward 7 months later, the furniture arrives and it downs fit in the elevator. Because they had to use the stairs more money was wanted by the third party moving company hired by the furniture store. When I called to complain I was basically rudely told that it was my problem and I either had to pay it or they would return the couch and I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee. This was a $4K+ couch where I had already paid $600 for delivery. Please save your money and take your business anywhere else - been ordering from stepper and for 20 years with no issues.

Everything was out fault, they covered oved one of the heating vents and when I asked for it to be fixed the installed swore at me but according to the shop that never happened. Our lanate that was laid on the main floor the other vent opening are all cut too large now we cannot get vents to cover them, one transition strip is already coming loose after one month from being installed. The carper has tacks on the stairs that I have cut my feet on. Spoke to "Shop" and the owner and he spent the whole call calling me a liar. DO NOT USE THEM EVER. Really a 3.5. Let me explain…read more We had two antique pieces recovered in leather. The leather is beautiful but the staples are visible all the way around the piping. We also had a custom couch made. Again, the design is beautiful but the quality of the work has a few bobbles to it. For example, it's obvious that they miscut a piece of fabric for one of the cushions so they just added an another piece. It's the only cushion with that extra piece added. Also, the inside seams weren't serged, so they are frayed. The couch looks good and has held up well, but the cutting of corners is noticeable to someone who sews. Items were delivered on time. Prices commensurate with the work done.
