Sadly, the taste just wasn't there. We stopped by the brewery, but they weren't open for an unknown reason. There was another gentleman from out of town that stopped by and was disappointed he wasn't able to get something from the tap. They had the "honor system" set up where you could get whatever you wanted in their fridge and you paid via PayPal or Venmo, which I did love. We went with one of each of the flavors. The flavors just weren't right. Even the flavor that was the name of the kombucha couldn't be found in the taste. Nearly all of them tasted the exact same to me. Hoping that the batch we had was just a flop because I see the potential here and hope to come back in the future and give them another try...this time from the tap first!

We ended up with 5 overstuffed bags for $50, and we had a blast! Although the trees closest to the barn were pretty well picked over when we arrived in early July, we got lucky and found a family using a ladder who loaned it to us as soon as they were done. We climbed to the top of the ladder to pluck sweet, purple cherries from the tops of the trees. Our kiddos also ended up with a ton of cherries that they found below adult eye lines. The age range of our group was 5 to 73 and everyone in our group had the best time. We were also hoping to pick strawberries, but the lovely staff at the front let us know that the strawberries were mostly gone because it was late in the season for strawberries. The groves were gorgeous and peaceful. If you're in Traverse City and want a fun thing to do with the whole family, come here! Cherries you pick yourself are even sweeter.
