We had braced ourselves for a long day possibly full of disagreements and detailed discussions about things like firmness, brand, financing, delivery, etc. OMF was the first and only place we went -- and we walked out the door happy within about 15 minutes, total, our new mattress delivered and set up and ready to be slept on in less than a week. Ryan, the store manager, was a delight to work with, giving us all the info we needed but never upselling us or pressuring us. He answered all of our questions, anticipated some that we didn't think to ask, and left us to make our own decision without a watchful sales eye (I hate when places keep an eagle eye on you while you try to figure things out!) I loved that they don't have a TON of mattresses to choose from -- just a few, locally made, on a firmness scale so that you can easily determine which ones you think you want to try and which ones not to bother with. We went with the second firmest option, with the springs, and a frame without a headboard (though Ryan let us know that they can pretty easily be attached later, if we want to buy one from OMF or elsewhere). Our mattress and bed were delivered the next weekend. Communication was easy and helpful, and the guys who made the delivery were speedy and skilled, navigating our narrow staircase without a single ding or dent in the walls.
