Yesterday i got the chicken and waffles and i used my phone to tap pay. For some reason it didn't print a receipt and the guy said it'll get credited to my account the next day and they made me pay again. I showed him my online bank account showing it came out. Well we're in the next day I i didn't get it refunded. I just had money stolen from me and all they tell me is to wait. I called my bank and they said i will have to challenge the charge. It was for 20 dollars so it's not like it's going to hurt me but it's the idea of the matter. If this happens to you get a refund right away and don't pay again. Our orders have been incorrect every time for the last multiple times, *even if* the person taking the order has repeatedly it back correctly. The soda syrup ratio is weak and unpalatable, and on the off chance we do go inside, the floors and tables are super sticky. read more

Pretty good- i like that the breaded tenders weren't really heavily breaded and they tasted fresh. I wasn't a huge fan of the garlic Parmesan sauce, but the buffalo and ranch were good (and I'm not usually a ranch fan) The chicken salad was good- I would've liked it better if it had more buffalo sauce and chicken, and less croutons. I also would've preferred the croutons to not be soft and oddly textured. Still tasty and fresh greens, plus a good deal for around $9 with a drink. I feel like this place is worth a 3.5 star more than a 4 star. It is fast food, but it's definitely much better than things like Burger King, kfc, and McDonald's. Ill probably eat here again. I used to come eat here every Tuesday when I was at the University of Arkansas since they gave students a 50% discount! I'm always down for a $3-4 meal okurrt. So when I found out wichita had one, I made my boyfriend take me while I was visiting town! All the feels. Missed this place! They've added some new items since I was last here but I opted for the same thing I always get: chick's plate which consists of 3 tenders, fries, 2 pieces of toast, and a drink. Slim Chickens gives you what you want and nothing else. This is simply chicken strips, chicken wings, chicken and waffles and a list of sides, dips and sauces. There is a list of prices for drinks and you can buy a gallon of lemonade if you want. There is an option to use their chicken and waffles force fund raiser. There are big family packs. Bottom line, you know you are getting chicken. No beef, pork or turkey, the big 3 that worm their way into other places. I'm thrilled! The prices are kind of high, but they give generous portions, so I'm not going to whine too much. I'm impressed with the several tea options. Some of us avoid soda/pop/soft drinks for a variety of reasons. Amazingly, people were sitting in the outside dining area...in July! The building seemed to have adequate seating. Asked for a wrap with no tomato I got half a chicken tender in each side of the wrap with only lettuce and tender I asked for Mac and cheese instead of fries never got it also asked for a sd of ranch never got it. This new chicken joint on the Westside is a great alternative to other fast food. Slim Chicken's serves everything hot and fresh as you order. I know this as I've come in at all hours of the day during my visits and everything has been scalding hot. Because you know, grease is hot. The flavors are delicious and the portions are just fine for chicken strips. If anyone is complaining about the strip size must be used to Costco brand chicken strips. Sizeable portions for an affordable prices. They have TVs where you can catch up on your sporting events. They have multiple employees walking around, cleaning, and greeting. They're really just making sure you're meal is fine. The free wi-fi was nice. I was able to come in and do work, while enjoying my lunch. They have multiple sauces for your chicken to dip into when you're feeling crazy. Slim sauce is like the Raising Cane's sauce. Probably BBQ & Ranch but still good enough for me. The wait is really my only knock on this place. The newness hasn't worn off yet and the wait is considerably long at times. I'll come back again and would recommend to everyone. read more

OK so the food was probably two stars but the building and decor was pretty cool. I think what bugged me the most was the quality of the chicken... My thought is: if you are a chicken place, shouldn't the highest quality control go into the chicken? Yes. The little chicken strips were a lower quality than the kids chicken tenders we serve at the restaurant I manage. They were just chewy and kind of tough. The breeding was good though. Lowering my rating to 3 stars from 5 as a result of my second visit. Why? 1) Had fried pickles on both visits, both times they were way too salty. * Edit - others confirm the same. They finally got nutrition info on website - a regular side order of pickles has over 3,000(!) mg of sodium. USRDA is 2,000. Yikes. 2) A couple of the people at the cash registers (not the cashiers) seem a bit pissy and like to frown. One of them gave me a short, terse reply when I asked if the plastic cups could be brought back for refills. Like, how stupid of me to ask. *Edit - it's fast food, I don't expect white glove treatment. But some people don't belong in front of customers. 3) $36 for 3 meals with one dessert. $36! Astonishing. I've read the strips are nearly 200 calories *each*, though I can't confirm this. *Edit - they recently published nutrition information on their website. Good for them! I used the app to place a curbside order. I live 25 minutes away so I placed my order at 11:15 to be picked up at 12:00. I wanted to make sure I arrived so that my food was hot so that it wouldn't be extremely cold when I got home. I arrived at 11:55 and by 12:10 no one had brought my order out. I had to call the restaurant and they said someone would bring my order out. When they brought it out it was ice cold. I attempted to call the restaurant twice to have it remade but got a busy signal, so I left since I had a kid in the car that didn't have shoes on. When I got home and opened up my box my chicken tenders were SMALL! I included a picture of how small. Every time we mobile order from this location we are either missing food or it takes so long to get the food it is cold. They also offer salads and chicken sandwiches; both are decent. The cost is moderate. What is crazy is that their salads are like $3 more than the chicken strips. I know that's the cost to eat healthy but dang you that's a big gap. Restaurant: 2/5 It's too cold in here. Bring multiple jackets. There's no reason for your hair to blow in the airflow of a restaurant inside. The tables are usually dirty and the area where you get your drink is always messy. The workers don't seem to be standing around which would mean they might be understaffed. Either way it changes the way you feel about a place when your uncomfortable eating. The staff likes to argue with you , talks rudely with you, rude remarks at you and also makes you take your order to go after you told them fine in when there is 15 minutes before they close.
