Slim4Life is AMAZING!!! I love seeing Mya, Jennifer, Stephanie and Destiny!! They are encouraging, friendly, and even stern when I need it!! Some reviews say how bad and expensive it is. Well anything that works is expensive. I know because I have tried them all!! But I have had more success with this program and I can live my life while doing it. It is a strict diet to an extent but it is food you can get easily at home or out. Sometimes you just have to ask for your food to be cooked a certain way, but I have found most restaurants accommodate this no problem. And how can you not expect to have to replenish any supplies, I mean let's be realistic. Obviously some people didn't stick to the program if it didn't work for them. And no I don't like some of the snacks but then I am smart enough not to buy those. Others, I love and I buy them all the time. As far as aspartame, well try and tell me you don't eat or drink anything that contains it? I tried to cut it out of my diet once and it is literally in everything!! No you can't eat bananas on this diet because they contain too much sugar. I love sushi and beer but I can't have that either. And for the potassium they don't expect you to pour iodized salt into your hand and eat it. I think that might be the dumbest comment I ever heard. You use it on your food in place of salt. I am so thrilled at my progress and I guess if I had to complain about something it would be the cost of replacing my entire wardrobe. Oh but wait who would complain about that?!?! Not me!! I cannot express how much Slim4life has changed my life!!! The ladies at the Hulen street Slim4life has been so helpful and encouraging to my weight loss journey. At first I was very skeptical about joining because I always thought with exercise I could lose the weight on my own without the help of a weight loss center. I tried another program and found it dissatisfying, mainly due to the calorie-counting approach in the program. The portion sizes were so small that I wound up starving and losing weight, yes, but it wasn't sustainable. Thus far, about a month into Slim4Life, it has been different. I am actually eating well and losing weight. Granted I am not eating according to my preferences, which rarely included raw vegetables and fresh fruit, but I am eating well and losing weight. There are also some nutrition supplements calculated for improving metabolism, but other than this the food in large part consists of items purchased from the grocery store. Another difference I've found with Slim4Life is the frequency with which the staff wants to see you. They want you to check in to see how you're doing and are all knowledgeable about the program and how to work it. Thus far I've seen Amy, Alex, and Lamitria and they have all been very helpful, making suggestions, and guiding me along the path of meeting my weight loss goal. And it is working. I am losing weight and yet eating well, though be prepared to eat a lot of raw vegetables and fresh fruit. read more

I have tried countless diets in the past, had even gotten pills from my doctor. Yes I would loose weight only to gain it and more back. Yes it was a little expensive but I totally don't care and I am not one to spend my money foolishly. With my old habits I probably would have spent that money on bad foods anyway. If anything, I probably saved money at the grocery store because of the types of foods I bought. As for the diet plan being strict, not at all. They tell you how much you can eat but they give you a huge variety of foods. I have lost almost 60 lbs and my doctor is pleased both with the results and how I got them. The staff has been nothing but great. Even if I went off plan they showed me ways to get back and encouraged me all they way. I would definitely suggest going to them if you are tired of the fluctuating weight gain and lost of other diets. In fact I wouldn't even classify it as a diet in the sense of other diets. I totally disagree with the above comment. The ladies at slim4life on now Hulen street are very professional and caring when it comes to general public and their health. I am back for a second time. My experience the first time was successful with a loss of 54 pounds and tons of inches. Now I'm doing it again after a 1 1/2 years only because I had a baby recently. If you follow the plan and go in for your weekly visits you will lose the weight. I agree it's expensive but like everything else there is a price to pay, but I don't put a price on my health and wellbeing of it means I can be around for my husband and kids. I love this facility! Slim4Life changed my life and helped me alter my life style. This weight loss facility is a place where you have to work hard and stick to the meal plans, including the supplements they recommend you to take to be successful. However the counsellors are very motivating and help inspire you every time you go to weigh in. However, my favorite part of going to weigh in is seeing my favorite counsellors Stephanie, Mya, and Jennifer. They are very personable and strive to form relationships with their clients. Slim4life is simply excellent. In a year's time I've lost 111 pounds and counting. The staff here is generally excellent. Shoutout to Jennifer, Stephanie, and Maya! Now, is it expensive? Yes, it can be. But in my opinion, it's worth it. Would you even be here in the first place if you were able to lose weight on your own? Probably not. The products are hit or miss. Over time you'll find which ones work for you and the ones that you like, and you can adjust accordingly. I like the program and have lost. Destiny helps me and encourages me to come in often to stay accountable. They always call to check on me when I don't come in; this encourages me to come back. The most successful clients, I see regularly. One had lost over 150 pounds! He told me to: come everyday, even when I didn't feel like it; gotten off plan; gained weight. This is so true!! Hey all!!! I started my journey with Linda and her crew about 7 months ago. This has been a HUGE benefit to me!! Loosing weight in helping to get my blood sugar more stable and I have been taken off of my blood pressure medication by my doctor. Linda is the manager at the Hulen site. I personally think slim for life is a great program. The hulen location is where i go and the 3 ladies (Alex , Amy and Lametria) that are there are all awesome very helpful and have helped me get from 331 down to 277 so far working for 250.
