Then I decided to do some research on my own on how I could get the help I needed to succeed in my weight loss battle. I decided to meet with Mark and Christina at the North Texas Clinical Weight Loss Center. I immediately felt relaxed and ready to take on this new adventure. They both explained everything in detail, to help me understand the tools I needed to get started. Christina has been a patient herself and lost over 50lbs and has kept it off. This made me want to be just as successful as she was. I jumped right in and started my journey on October 31st. As Mark would say "The Holiday's start on Halloween." I lost weight so quickly! In the first week I was down 7 lbs. I loved that I had tons of food choices and I was never hungry. The key is to count, count, count those calories and stick to your calorie budget! That combined with drinking TONS of water will get rid of those unwanted pounds. It has now been 5 & 1/2 months since I joined the clinic and I have lost 61 lbs! Now I feel great about myself and I can't wait to go shopping for a new wardrobe. My Husband says he feels like we are dating again. I get so many compliments and everyone wants to know how I did it. I sent a certified letter asking them to correct my medical records. They only removed one false statement. They took no accountability and were rude and hateful to me even though they are at fault. I sent a certified letter to Dr. Achtman to make sure he would see my complaint but the return verification was never sent back. A nurse in the front desk area YELLED at me through the window that she would never change the note in my medical record. When I reported that they acknowledged that they know she is mean and yells at people. Seriously? And you let her continue? Go somewhere else where you know your medical records are accurate and where you are treated with respect.

Less than 20 min later a get a call from the office from another lady and she says, "I'm sorry ma'am. We no longer accept groupon." I'm perplexed. It has your clinic listed. Your number listed. It's BEFORE the expiration. The reception said you guys did. She said it was only for new patients. AGAIN, that was NO WHERE on the groupon. Apparently, because they weren't making any money off of it (which they stated themselves. They made it a point to say that they got NOTHING out of honoring the groupons) they decided to stop honoring it TWO WEEKS AGO. How unprofessional is that?! It goes beyond my appointment. I'm not the only person this has happened too. Then I asked for a refund and she tells me that we don't give refunds unless we perform the service. Well how the f*%k are you going to do that if you don't honor the groupon?! They can't even speak English correctly. WELL, then I speak to the manager. ::insert vulgar language:: NOT only was she rude in the words she spoke, her tone was belittling, she didn't listen and she was talking over me. I'm sorry. I thought GOOD customer service was to DEESCALATE the situation- not ESCALATE it. THEN I catch the woman in a lie. She said because they are short staffed that there's no one there to give me a massage. The masseuse went home sick. WHAT?!? Then HOW did you confirm my appointment 30 min prior to this conversation?! I can ONLY assume its because I purchased the damn groupon. I WILL NEVER return to this place again and will tell EVERYONE HOW HORRIBLE this place is. They really are a money greedy, lying, UNPROFESSIONAL business.
