Gabbi was our piercer and she was SO kind and patient. She took extra time explaining everything to my daughter before the first piercing. We couldn't get my daughter to cooperate for the second ear, so Gabbi let us know we could come back later and she would honor the piercing price. We came back a few hours later and they still spent extra time with my daughter to calm her down and help her understand that it would be super fast. The store front was visible from the main road and you'll see "TATTOO" in large lettering but their personal sign next to the door was a bit hard to see. I couldn't tell if it was"Guys & Dolls" right away until I saw the red sign next to their entrance. The parking in the front was very limited but i found a sign that said there was parking in the back and found a parking spot right away. Their shop was clean and the woman that greeted me was friendly and helped me out right away. I signed a waiver, paid for my piercings and she recommended an after care product that I purchased also. While she went to prepare the piercing room, I hung out in the waiting area and enjoyed the tattoo magazines on the side table as well as all the art up on the walls. I was in the piercing room in no more than 10 minutes. I had a girlfriend come with me and the process was fast and easy. My piercer was sanitary and professional. I asked for a female too. After 1-2wks my nipple piercings were embedding because the barbells were too short and my nostril piercing started to sink because of poor aftercare instructions/post too short. I reached out to Torrie and she switched me out for longer barbells (for free) and told me my nostril looked fine. Unfortunately, the barbells were still too short and my nostril wasnt getting any better. I lost confidence in Torrie and decided to get a 2nd opinion at different shop. I was switched out for more appropriate length starter jewlery and received better aftercare advice than what Torrie provided to me, which was spray the piercings 3-5x/day and this caused my piercings to dry out so much it caused irritation bumps. Torrie also never educated me on the need to downsize jewlery after 6 weeks. (Which is probably why she put in too small barbells) If you're not experienced with piercings I would not recommend getting pierced here. I'm rating Torrie a solid 1 since she did a great job on placement however, her aftercare instructions were not clear and I truly believe if I had not went to a different shop for a 2nd opinion my piercings would have rejected. Once inside, I waited nearly 20 minutes while the previous client -- a minor with a parent -- lingered in the room chatting after their service was already done. There was still another client ahead of me, and it was clear things were moving slowly. I started to get anxious about being late for work (which I wouldn't have been if the shop had opened on time), so I politely asked if I could just purchase the jewelry and change it myself. The lady at the counter was kind and helpful, even checking my nails to see if I'd be able to manage it. I had no problem paying nearly $80 for the jewelry -- the quality is great. My issue is with the lack of professionalism and time management. This shop is run by one person, and it shows -- there's no sense of urgency, and clients' time doesn't seem to be respected. What really rubbed me the wrong way, though, was how my first review was handled. Instead of taking the feedback in stride, the owner posted it on his personal Facebook page and used it to fish for more positive reviews, all while making me out to be the villain.
