The floors in the kitchen had to be torn up and matched to the floors in the living room and dining room, as they were all in the "line of sight". The existing floors are 20 years old and quite worn. The new floor boards were laid in the kitchen, and ALL the floors had to be sanded and stained to match. I defy anyone to come into my house and tell me where the new floors end and where the old floors start. They literally did a perfect job. No one can tell the difference. We love the color. We have natural American cherry, and it is hard to work with because it changes color so much as it ages. Yes, the old and the new look exactly the same. And they are gorgeous! Everyone at the company is very professional and easy to deal with. Kevin, the owner is an amazing guy and stands behind his product and his employees. He called during the process to make sure we were happy. In the end, there was one mistake made, as some grout in a transition spot from the kitchen floor to the tile in the laundry room got missed. This company was installing my floor for Lowe's. I paid for the floor in April (the entire house),…read moreit's the middle of August and it is still not done. I've attached pictures of the work. This is just the tip of the iceberg. They left a big pile of rubble in my yard that has been there since May. Today I finally had a dumpster delivered but now I have to pay someone to load it up. This, despite paying Lowe's over $2000 to remove this. I have a damaged wall, my doors are still off the hinges but are too heavy for me to lift & reinstall myself. Lowe's won't let me have another installer so today I've had to contact an attorney to take care of this problem for me. It's been one problem after another.
