Her actual contributions were minimal--mainly inputting our own rental lists (often incorrectly) and pushing a florist who was unprofessional and tried to upsell us on unnecessary items. When we raised concerns, she repeatedly got defensive and claimed she limits options to avoid "overwhelming" couples, yet rarely provided more than one choice. On the wedding day, coordination was poor. Guests were directed into the bridal space before the ceremony (the BRIDE had to ask family to be seated...), meaningful décor items provided by family weren't set out as instructed (items all labeled with an clear itemized list), and our photographer and DJ--not the planner--kept the timeline on track. The following day, we had to return to the venue to fix misplaced rental equipment - another job that she failed to do properly without any apology. Our wedding turned out beautifully despite her involvement--not because of it. I would NOT recommend hiring her.

Given that it was an off-site location, there were so many additional details that required our attention that Felicia notified us about and then took control of (in a good way). Although we did not always agree with all of her suggestions (she's sort of a "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" kind of person), she was always extremely receptive to our input and never gave us any pushback if we decided to take another route. They did a site visit prior to the wedding to make sure there would be no surprises the day of the wedding and regularly checked in with us to make sure we had all the music song choices in order. Theresa was our go-to when we were putting together our song requests; so patient and kind when we made changes, there was never any panic on her end.
