Whether you want to stay busy or just kick back and watch a game, they've got you covered. There's a fun mini golf course with obstacle-style holes, cornhole, other interactive games, tons of big-screen TVs showing sports, plenty of high-top tables, a long bar, and even outdoor seating. We decided to grab a couple seats at the bar. We were first greeted by Kelly, who was incredibly friendly, had a great smile, and genuinely seemed happy to take care of us. Then Ben took over, and he was awesome. Super personable, easy to joke around with, and the kind of bartender who keeps interacting with guests even when he's busy. The staff alone is a reason we'd come back. Trivia isn't usually my thing, but we decided to join in anyway. It's free, energetic, and a lot of fun. There were probably around 25 teams playing, and Tom did a great job keeping the energy up all night. The questions start out pretty easy to build your confidence, then get progressively tougher. It ended up being a great time and the perfect way to spend our first night in Tahoe.

It reminds me a little bit of Virginia City, only without the bars, casinos, old-time photo shops, and camel races. Genoa is the oldest town in Nevada, founded in 1851 as a Mormon trading post. It still has lots and lots of history. Mormon Station State Park has replicas of some of the original buildings, and there are other historic buildings in town as well. however, Genoa feels more like a small ranching town rather than a big movie set. Tucked into this cute little town, is the Sierra chef. They do a lot. They do catering, they do cooking classes and it's a good old-fashioned Italian deli, also. Lots of Italian foods, and also grocery items, that you can buy. They have meats and cheeses, imported olive oils , sauces, and pastas. Amazing pastries. Gelato. They even carry. Illy coffee, which is a very high-quality coffee. Everybody in the store was so nice. For my lunch order, I was helped by Lori, and she was also very friendly and helpful. I decided to have the Porchetta sandwich, and it was amazing. Wonderfully seasoned pork, cut into thin strips. It was rich, savory, and had an amazing "porky" flavor. I could smell it as soon as it was brought out to my table. It was on a wonderful bread that was crusty on the outside, and soft and pillowy on the inside. , the cheese was creamy, , and the veggies were just absolutely amazing. One of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time. To drink, I had a cherry lime, Italian cream soda. I could taste both the cherry and the lime, I loved the creaminess of it, and there was just enough of a soda water that I could get the carbonation. For dessert, I had a cannoli. The shell was perfect, the ricotta in the middle was wonderfully rich, and I had chocolate chips on one end, and pistachios on the other. Again, totally top-notch. I took home a jar of imported puttanesca sauce, and it was just as great. The tomatoes had just had a rough chop, I could taste the brine from the capers, I could taste the olives, everything in it made it one of the best sauces that I have had in a long, long time. I live in the Sacramento area, so I'm going to have to see if I can find that sauce locally. It was that good. The price out the door for everything was very reasonable, considering the high-quality of the product. Just an amazing stop at a fantastic shop. I will be back. Thanks!

So if you like those Raiders of the Lost Ark vibes, then you would like sitting next to the mine for sure. It's roped off but you can hear the water dripping and it is naturally cool. The structure was originally built as a hotel in 1853 and has been well preserved. I ordered their Smith Flat House salad ($10) and the Jambalaya Risotto ($34) which consisted of Cajun-marinated prawns, lobster meat, Andouille sausage, grilled sweet corn with saffron chicken risotto. Definitely had a bit of a kick to it, the risotto was done well. My pet peeve is mushy risotto, it needs to have a slight bite to it which this one had thankfully. Love the fact that this place serves up local wines -- I couldn't recall the wine I had and they do not have their wine menu on their website. If you have the opportunity to visit, I'd recommend a glass of red from Starfield (winery up the road).

I…read morechecked them out online and then Yelp as I had never heard of this place which surprised me since they opened 10 years ago. The positives - the staff is incredible. Our server Lydia was so kind and helpful, helping us navigate the current menu. So helpful in follow up on the reservation, bartender was really great working with me to find an alternative to the mocktail I had found from the last menus posted here. He also did the expo bringing out the food. I loved the reviews here. Portions seemed to fit fine dining, the menus seemed to be reasonable with lots of options etc. They do take reservations through OpenTable. Making the reservation was really easy. I put notes on OpenTable. They called ahead to confirm our needs. Everything was really responsive and accommodating. We booked for 7:30pm due to work commitments but didn't expect the difficulty in finding parking. If you're dining on a reservation, please give yourself time to find parking. A lot of restaurants and businesses share the area and availability was difficult even for a Thursday night. We had a wheelchair and mobility challenges so it took us longer than expected to park. There is a small parking lot next to the restaurant but it's not dedicated. Also, they close at 8:30pm. Be aware of this as well and clarify that they do not have to wait between appetizers etc to bring the next course. Our food was spaced out accordingly but didn't really work too well for the birthday, the parking, pivoting on the menu and choosing alternates etc. I loved the esthetic of the restaurant, it has a beautiful outdoor space, cobblestone patio though (we had to 4 wheel a touch with the wheelchair) and there's a bit of a slope in places. Food - Bread and butter was fresh and the truffle butter was delicious. We had five peoplr so one order gave us each one piece of bread each without heels. The Bruschetta was SOOO good! We got that next and we devoured it. Fried mushrooms were next and this is where we are reminded that we need to ask more questions about what we are ordering. They we kindof shaved and fried, on a small plate layered on top of some creme freche. If you like different mushrooms, you may love them but they were a special. I don't know how often they change the specials. The most current menus are scaled down. The mocktail selection seems to fit the Midtown/downtown patterns of crafted NA aperitif use so if you like crafted drinks without the alcohol flavor like I do, there's really not much variety. The bartender did try and my garnish was great but it still had a strong citrus flavor and after adding more soda water (bottled) to cut the flavor, it was $14 for a drink with no alcohol. The pasta was al dente? Maybe too al dente or perhaps by the time our dinner was prepared just didn't have the time to cook it as well. I don't know if this is usual but the gnocchi and spaghetti were a bit too undercooked for our taste. The chicken was excellent and my daughter's friend loved it. We all tried my mom's lobster ravioli and the pasta was less al dente, the bisque had a pleasant flavor. I think perhaps tomato based is where they really shine. The pesto was alright, decent flavor but more salty/earthy. I'm hoping as leftovers, the flavors marry more and the pasta softens. The smashed potatoes are actually just cubed roasted red potatoes. I should have done a bit more research as I am a mashed fiend but with the garlic aioli, was pretty good. The cauliflower gratin had a good flavor too but I didn't really expect such large pieces with that as well and kindof expected more of a toasted crust. Flavorful but maybe cooking was rushed by the time we got our main order in. Overall, it was an experience and one I'm glad we had but it's gonna be a one and done for us. Maybe an earlier seating will get a different result. This was our first time so it may be better and we just got them on a bad night. Service was 100% and the staff was great, tipped in cash.

I brought it up to my sister and she also said she had been wanting to go especially since she was told they have gluten free options so we decided to pop in for lunch. We went on a Sunday around 2:45 and it wasn't super busy so we were able to get a table right away. We were immediately brought water and menus. There was the regular menu, happy hour and brunch. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday until 3. We both tried the blackberry mule mocktail which was good but tasted quite heavy on the ginger beer. I couldn't decide between the breakfast pizza and poutine fries so I got both. The poutine fries were on the happy hour menu during that time. The breakfast pizza was quite large and fennels meant for at least two people but it was nice and hot and cheesy and I loved the addition of the egg but wish it came with more than one. It also needed a sauce of some kind, ranch or salsa or even hot honey. The poutine fries were delicious! I got it with mushroom gravy and haven't been able to stop thinking about them. I was unable to try the stuffed avocado and Baja bowl that my sisters ordered due to my avocado allergy but she really enjoyed it. The service was prompt and our waitress was really nice. The inside was so cute and you do have the option to sit outside. Can't wait to back and bring my husband, the menu has so much I want to try!

Cooked wonderfully as well. The tortilla chips in the nachos.. I don't know if they were made there or not, but they gave the impression of being store-bought. The quality was not great.
