The Location itself is somewhat hidden, but if you stop near the Watersportcentrum, you'll spot the signs. There is a terrace on the harbour and a small restaurant upstairs. The restaurant features a cosy, rural interior, just on the border between rural and trendy. There are only four tables sitting 4-6 each. The menu is small, too, but contain quite a good choice of different dishes: Burger, Ribs, Soup, Salad, Fish (mussels) We had the XXL Burger, Mussels, a Cesar Salad and a spicy tomato soup - all fresh made and tasting really great. During daytime, there is a small menu of smaller dishes (pancakes, toasts, soups, frikandel, etc.) for the terrace. The price level is not the lowest. Main courses range from 15 to 25 EUR. But from my point of view is the money well spend!

A beautiful, cosy, old "herberg", or inn, on the IJlst waterfront. Four big common rooms, each with…read morebar and taps. In total they have about 12 beers on tap and even more on bottle. The snacks and desserts weren't that great but we didn't try the main fare. If you pass or stay in IJlst don't hesitate to visit here, it's pretty much the only place here anyway!
