I had a discussion with this Drs office back in September 2021 to set up appointments for my family, I was advised to call the insurance and have them list as my primary so they can schedule my appointment. Called the office scheduled appointments which were available for December 1st week for my family at different dates and times. Got a call in Nov 1st week saying that starting 2022 they wont be accepting my insurance and if I wanted to cancel my appointment, told them its ok I will do the yearly for this year with them and will find someone for next year. Got a call today 11/23 saying that Dr is not available on 3 different days and 3 different times my family's appointments are set for and they don't have any other appointments for any of us until our insurance runs out. At this time there is no way for me to get appointment at new dentist for this year. Unfortunately, I have not been able to secure care elsewhere due to limited access--many offices do not accept my insurance, one have closed, and Rutgers University has extremely long waitlists. At this time, your office is the only option available to me that accepts my insurance and works with my transportation coverage. Since my last visit, my condition has worsened. I am now experiencing food getting trapped in my mouth, and it feels like there may be a hole forming near one of my teeth. This is causing increased discomfort, stress, and anxiety. I have submitted all required medical documentation and followed every step necessary for approval. Being denied care under these circumstances has caused additional emotional distress.
