He showed me a fish in particular that he thought was interesting but was already on hold for another customer it was a black colored really big and puffy one. I was saying the fish looked like a mafia boss and he would just laugh. I had a lot of fun with my friends and him just talking and walking around to the point we lost track of time and ended up being in there for 45 minutes. He didn't mind that we came in to just browse and have a look around as i was unsure if my father's tank needed any more fish. The fish there are big! (There are little ones too). There's also fish i don't see in regular pet stores (there was this super buggy eye'd looking gold fish, the eyes literally popping out of his head like big round googly eyes). Absolutely immersive. The massive tanks showing how communities of fish live together are impressive, but the Dangerous Lagoon is the crown jewel. There is a slow-moving treadmill through the tunnel pro tip: just stay on it and look up. Seeing the sharks and rays glide over you is a core memory. Staff & Service: Top-notch. The staff is not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable. They are very proactive about animal welfare, constantly reminding the crowd to turn off their flashes to protect the creatures. Educational Value: We caught two of the diver shows where they feed the animals. It's amazing to hear them talk about sustainability and how our daily decisions impact these animals' lives for years to come. Crowd: It gets crowded fast! Even as early birds, we weren't alone. However, the layout is so well-organized that the flow of people keeps moving. Food & Amenities: After the shark tunnel, there's a convenient coffee shop and washrooms located in the basement. It's the perfect spot to take a breather. Transportation: Location couldn't be better. It's incredibly accessible you can easily walk if you're downtown, or take the bus/train (TTC) to Union Station. That was surprising and concerning, as it suggests this is a known, ongoing problem that has not been addressed. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of accountability. GetYourGuide directed us to the aquarium for resolution, while the aquarium redirected us back to GetYourGuide. This back-and-forth left us without a clear path to resolve the issue. Overall, this reflects poorly on both the ticketing platform and the aquarium. Clear communication and transparency are essential, especially when selling different types of admission. They have various time slots for you to choose from when you book the tickets online. The duration is 2 hours of play for $19.99+taxes, it includes one adult entry. We booked it for 11:30pm - 1:30pm. As you can imagine it was pretty busy since it was a P.A day. The playground wasn't that big, there's a few party rooms. They have various things for kids to do. One downside is they only had two video game stations. Kids had to line up and wait for their turn, timing can be tight since there's only 2 hours of playtime unless you pay extra to extend it. This place is fairly new so it's clean and well maintained. They don't allow outside food and drinks but I've seen some people with it, perhaps they had found a way to sneak it in. They have snacks and drinks that you can purchase. I looked into their party packages and in my opinion I think it's overly priced, it's not worth it. Bringing kids here once in a while to play is still okay in terms of one time admission fees but not with their passes or party packages.
