It was our first time there and we were both completely enamored with the displays of beautiful artery of shrimp, crabs, fish and some aquatic plants. Since we were looking to add to an existing tank, we inquired about different shrimps to see which ones would be most suitable tank mates to our current residents. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and they helped us with the selection. We also picked it some driftwood and moss to add to the tank for the shrimp. Looking forward to returning once they get the pea puffers in which you can place your name on a waiting list online for in stock notification. SF is a nifty little shop and we'll likely be back for more additions soon.

It's a little hard to find, was hoping there would be a more obvious sign or some sort of color to stand out more. We were welcomed right when we walked in and they were very informative and told us about their deals. The shrimp are really tiny!, If some of them didn't pile up on each other i would not have seen them. They have a big range of different colors and sizes too. They also sell those little cute fish that cling onto the sides of the wall or other tiny fish. The cray fish really caught my eye. They're about the size of a cookie, really pretty. They even have blue ones! The man that is working there can answer any of your questions with ease and would tell us some facts we didn't know about the care, sizes and life span. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

There will always be sick fish or fish that get sick from the stress of transport and a new tank, especially if you don't know how to set up the tank properly. Also, know your fish symptoms so you can spot potentially sick fish before you buy. Its not always the store's fault. Just because you bought a fish from pet smart once and it lived means nothing. For the person that asked, Arowana are legal to import and sell in Canada (not in the US). No offense intended, but If you are unaware of that I would not really trust your review of an Aquarium store.

I realized that I needed help from an aquatics expert, so in September 2015, I searched online and found EverClear Aquatics. For two years, EverClear Aquatics came to my home and cleaned the turtle's aquarium and water filter on a regular schedule. It was the best decision I made and the turtle loved it! They were so helpful, allowing me to enjoy the turtle and not have to worry about cleaning his home. I went through two different canister filters that did not work properly, but EverClear Aquatics came to my rescue when the filter was not working properly. They later recommended a good canister filter to purchase, which I did. It was the best choice I made in a water filter, making my life a lot easier. When I told EverClear Aquatics that I wanted to get a specific piece of equipment, they also recommended one for me and ordered and installed it. EverClear Aquatics is great in so many ways. They are professional, hardworking, reliable, trustworthy, patient, and very good with both people and aquarium life. They are also good in communicating with clients. For example, when scheduling appointments, they often provided me with various possible dates. They also confirmed appointments and always let me know in advance if they had any schedule changes. Eventually, after a couple of years, I asked EverClear Aquatics to teach me how to clean the aquarium and water filter and do water changes myself. They educated me on what to do and spent time answering my questions. They also provided me with various supplies for the water filter, so I didn't have to order them myself. When it came time for me to return the turtle to my family member, EverClear Aquatics did something amazing. They came to my home, dismantled the turtle's aquarium and water filter, took the equipment in their car to the new home, and installed them. I was expecting to receive an invoice, but they did all of this for me free of charge. They also sent me a photo of the turtle in his new home because they knew how much I loved him and wanted him to be happy. It was an incredible gift I did not expect at all. I would highly recommend EverClear Aquatics. They are simply the best.

Since EverClear Aquatics has been maintaining our tank, it's crystal clear water with maintenance only once a month. They even put our small tank on their route even though they normally deal with larger tanks. Can't thank Chris and his team enough. The most professional and absolutely know their fish and tanks!

I used to take public transit and walk escorted as a wee child uphill both ways, yes, literally; in the blazing summer heat and in the dead of winter just to get here. I'd sing "The Ants Go Marching" on the way, out loud, and I loved every step of that mission. The store came up in a conversation recently and suddenly--boom--my whole childhood flashed before my eyes. A few days later I happened to drive by. I didn't go in this time, but just seeing it still standing after all these years gave me chills. It used to be a wonderland of fish tanks... walls of fish... and if memory serves, maybe there were bunnies or ferrets at one point too (I might be wrong on that, but hey, memories blur). Knowing it's still there means I have a chance to walk in again one day and revisit that magical space with grown-up eyes. If you're in the area, especially if you've got kids or a love of aquatic life, maybe go check it out and keep the spirit alive. Here's to places that stay standing, even when the years rush by. Absolutely immersive. The massive tanks showing how communities of fish live together are impressive, but the Dangerous Lagoon is the crown jewel. There is a slow-moving treadmill through the tunnel pro tip: just stay on it and look up. Seeing the sharks and rays glide over you is a core memory. Staff & Service: Top-notch. The staff is not only friendly but incredibly knowledgeable. They are very proactive about animal welfare, constantly reminding the crowd to turn off their flashes to protect the creatures. Educational Value: We caught two of the diver shows where they feed the animals. It's amazing to hear them talk about sustainability and how our daily decisions impact these animals' lives for years to come. Crowd: It gets crowded fast! Even as early birds, we weren't alone. However, the layout is so well-organized that the flow of people keeps moving. Food & Amenities: After the shark tunnel, there's a convenient coffee shop and washrooms located in the basement. It's the perfect spot to take a breather. Transportation: Location couldn't be better. It's incredibly accessible you can easily walk if you're downtown, or take the bus/train (TTC) to Union Station. That was surprising and concerning, as it suggests this is a known, ongoing problem that has not been addressed. What made the situation more frustrating was the lack of accountability. GetYourGuide directed us to the aquarium for resolution, while the aquarium redirected us back to GetYourGuide. This back-and-forth left us without a clear path to resolve the issue. Overall, this reflects poorly on both the ticketing platform and the aquarium. Clear communication and transparency are essential, especially when selling different types of admission.
