They offered before anybody asked for water for our table. The atmosphere here is spacious, no nonscense and clean. Bathrooms met my standards completly cuz I'm picky when it comes to the facilities. I had the "Smashwich $7.42". Melt in your mouth wheat english muffin canadian bacon, avocado with gouda. It was filling but not too much to where I was to full. You'll love it here, cuz I'm gonna cone back so if I say that, TRUST, it's da BOMB! I took home a "Raspberries and More ($8.75) smoothie with an added banana. Not a bad place to stop by with a friend and have a smoothie and snacks with. I wish they had more food to serve, but overall it's an awesome place and I think more people need to try them out. The seating and overall inside of the place is very comfy open and relaxing. What a let-down. I'd been dying to try this place so I dragged my friend to North Liberty with me. We both left extremely disappointed. :( I got the "pump up the jam" smoothie - beware that it tastes like you're drinking liquid peanut butter. Not an ounce of strawberry or banana flavor. All peanut butter. Hear me out: I LOVE peanut butter. But I couldn't finish this because it was PB overload. Also, I don't think I'd classify their smoothies as smoothies - more like juice? Both mine and my friend's were much more runny than what I consider to be a smoothie. I also ordered a cold pressed juice. I tried ordering the Skinny Mini but they were out of it (at 9:30am on a Saturday). So I got the Grounded juice. I was extremely disappointed to see it was made 3 days prior...for $10 I was expecting fresh juice. Tried it, hated it. Tasted horrible and not like the cold pressed juice I get elsewhere. Over the past year, I have fallen in love with their Healthy Hippy juice (carrot, orange, pineapple, and turmeric). I have also tried a few other juices, and each has their own unique profiles... --- If you love grapefruit and something little more on the sour side, the Skinny Mini is for you (Cucumber, Grapefruit, Green Apple). --- If you are looking for some spice with a sweet/sour balance, head for the "Un" Plug juice (Cucumber, Green Apple, Fennel, Ginger, Lime, Mint). --- If you want some greens, but with less of a punch, try the Grounded juice (Cucumber, Kale, Lime, Green Apple). I also saw that you can order juice cleanse packs in advance so that you are stocked for a few-day cleanse. Let me preface this by telling you what NOT to expect here. Regarding the Waffle Bar, do not expect thick Belgian-style waffles, though the waffles are good and dinner plate sized. Do not expect to put your own toppings on the waffles. Do not expect any kind of fruit toppings in syrup or sauce or any powdered sugar or whipped cream or a variety of flavors of syrup for topping it all...It is not that kind of waffle bar. It is a healthy waffle bar. You can choose some odd seeds or nuts, some mango, coconut, some super food topping, some fresh blueberries or shards of strawberries or banana slices, though they do have chocolate chunks and peanut butter. The syrup is maple only. Sadly I was looking for more of a dessert waffle with a sugar fix. I did not see any fancy soup choices and personally I can't imagine paying $10 for a juice drink, but I'm not up on healthy power drinks so maybe that's not unusual. I liked the staff and the space.
