This is a great space to while away the hours on a rainy day and it's the kind of magic place where you can buy loads and spend little. There are over 60 stalls here in all. Stalls include a florist, a bagel stall, cafe, fruit and veg, cards, jewellery, stall selling mobile phones accessories, fashion, baby-ware and the oldest record shop in Newport. It's got a hidden modern frontage but on the inside it's like being inside a time warp. Everything you could possibly need under one roof and big enough to give you a new shopping experience every time you come. Even though I've been here a lot I always turn down an unexpected aisle and find a new shop I've never seen before. For me the reason I used to go there was the cake stall. A tiny shop quite hidden away close to the Kingsway entrance. They sell freshly made welsh cakes, sponge cakes, bara brith, fairy cakes and fruit cake. As well as fruit pies. A fully decorated sponge cake sells for about £2.50 so for any office event they're perfect. The other great thing is that they sell off the cakes by the slice at the end of the day as nothing will keep. They're also freezable if you want to keep them for a month or so. The only drawback about this stall is it doesn't sell bread.

Where does one start? Well I spotted Welsh costumes for children/ladies, Welsh dolls, Welsh confectionery, Welsh cards, Welsh books and a whole raft of Welsh novelty goods. The shop also had a good seleciton of Welsh translations of childrens' books I spotted a Welsh horrid history and a Welsh version of Artemis Fowl. There was also a range of books for Welsh learners as well as some general books about famous Welsh characters and some books about the history of Wales. The shop also has a web site of the same name which has an even larger range of products. The owner told me they have customers from all over the world seeking to have a little piece of Wales wherever they may be!

I bought cute scented erasers for my little cousins. Essentially, a visit here will probably leave you wishing you were rich to buy everything. Customer Service: The downside. The staff here had anything BUT holiday cheer and weren't very welcoming. When I went to the counter with my purchases they were not friendly at all.
