Saw Dr. Jim, who is there most of the time now, he's great- very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly. I usually see Rose or Saska as my dental hygienist and both do a great job. Called his office to set an appt, found very kind staff and hours/times to match my schedule with no issues. This was I'd say at least 10+ years ago and I have to admit Russ has not only become my all time favorite Dentist, but I TRUST him and every suggestion that I've had to deal with over the past decade, which did include many root canals, crowns, and those dang cavities. I have never had insurance, as he knows, but he does NOT gouge the wallet of patients. I've had a fair share of work done, so i've gotten a cross section of the performance. The quality of the cleanness is amazing IMO. Staff is so friendly, and the place is so inviting inside. Their scheduling program is very nice, and the digital x-ray with no film is awesome. I can see x-rays of my teeth on the screen in real time as it happens!!! All in all, highly recommended. The staff was horrible since we were children. They were rude to us, ignored our questions, yelled at us, even held down my younger sister when she was a scared 5 year old. Parents aren't allowed back there for a reason. In terms of dental care, they are awful. The orthopedic is amazing, no complaints. My sister and I both had wonderful experiences there. But the dentists are awful. They never answered our questions as children and even as an 18 year old. They would tell us they would talk to our parents instead. When it came to dental issues, they weren't taken seriously. We were always told to "brush more" and that we weren't doing a good job, even as 17 year olds who were brushing multiple times a day. They would tell us our teeth were fine with no issues, when in reality we had cavities and issues with our teeth. They wait until it's too far to fix these issues. After we turned 18, we switched to a new dentist. At the new place, 6 months after our last cleaning we were both told we had multiple cavities and issues with our teeth. My sister had to get a root canal when she was told her teeth were perfect 6 months ago from the pediatric dentists. At the new dentists we were treated with respect, and actually were given information and answers to our questions. We were given real advice rather than "brush more" and able to find the cause of any dental issues. This place traumatized me and my sister as children. We struggled for years and were extremely afraid of coming to this dentists due to the disrespect and awful patient care. There is a reason parents aren't allowed to go back with their children. I do not suggest any parent take their children to this dentist, take your money elsewhere for better care and a better experience.
