I met Dr. Bruce Sofferman in 2016 through a networking group. He asked me to give his office a try, I stated I was seeing the same dentist for the past 30 years and wasn't going to change. I was a basket case when it came to me and the dental chair. I have had very bad experiences in the past. Fast forward to 2019, I was attending a holiday party. Dr. Sofferman and I were chatting and I told him I had just cracked my tooth, he immediately takes his phone out, calls his office and sets up an appointment for me for the next day. . . That is when my experience at the dentist forever changed for the best!! They have state of the art equipment, fabulous and courteous staff, just completely different than the "one man show" I was used to. I have been a patient of Smile Dental ever since, I actually look forward to going to the dentist and even go 3 times a year for my cleanings. Dr. Sofferman has a heart of gold and is really caring of his patients. I took my 82 y/o mother to see him for a consult on new dentures a few years ago, other dentists wanted to give her implants, but she was not a candidate for that, he made her a new set of dentures without all the hoopla the other dentists wanted to put her through. Beware Medicare recipients. 2023 Medicare has a new dental benefit for routine dental hygiene visits. I decided to go in for a cleaning. While in the chair, I was crystal clear that if there was *any* out of pocket involved, I would not be able to receive the service. They assured me that there would be none. A month later I received a bill. The person on the telephone was unsympathetic toward my complaint and request for a monthly payment plan (I guess $86.00 was small potatoes in her mind - It's my food budget for a week). read more

Dr Sofferman was wonderful. Because of his highly knowledgeable experience, he was able to create and perfect new full dentures for my 92 year old mother. The nursing home lost her teeth and she was unable to eat anything but a puree diet. Over the years we have seen many Dentist and he was so professional, empathetic, and able to resolve my mother's issue. Love this place. You're quickly wowed by the elegant and modern lobby and the state of the art instruments. All the staff is very friendly and helpful.
