Dr. Jagtiani really cares about her patients and will go out of her way to make sure you feel comfortable with whatever procedure you're about to do. Office is very clean and the entire staff was very friendly. There also wasn't a wait when I arrived, I was able to go straight to the back room for my appointment. It's located in coconut creek which is close to my daughter's school so it's been super convenient for me. There is also plenty of parking in the plaza. Other dentist are predatory and always looking to do unnecessary work. That has not been my experience with Dr Laryssa. She said she a great dentist with a great heart and her staff is awesome and nice too. If you need dental work make sure you have Dr Laryssa give you a quote before you make a decision. When they initially asked me when my insurance last paid for this procedure or that, I should have seen these as a red flag. Went there for a routine cleaning and check-up as a new patient. Haven't had any issue in 30+ years, always perfect checkups. Was told by Dr. Larysa Smith that I had periodontal gum disease requiring deep cleaning and more frequent dental visits. Also advised that I needed to have two molar fillings replaced because of bacteria decay and expensive crowns put in. Tried to scare me by saying if you don't do these now, they may have to do a costly and painful root canal later. Since my insurance would only cover a small portion, I declined and told them I just want a regular cleaning. They refused to do regular cleaning unless I paid for the more expensive deep cleaning so I went and scheduled cleaning with another dentist the next day. After performing x-rays, exam and regular cleaning, they confirmed that none of those procedures were necessary. My molar fillings are fine, no decay because of sealants on my teeth and I do not have periodontal gum disease needing deep cleaning or related service. I contacted my insurance company to let them know.

I paid extra to be put out in twilight . Someone prior to him apparently missed that I had a cavity and the tooth could not be saved . This was the 1st time ever I had to have a tooth extracted other than the wisdom teeth and was more than happy with the results . I did not want any issues later in life but he said it barely moves and could possibly take many years 10 or more even that to have an issue . He did not recommend extraction unless I am feeling uncomfortable. I guess I'll check back next year but I do have insurance now and wanted to take a precaution . He is wonderful and said he would do it if that's what I wanted but would wait He works out of Kawa Orthodontics office which has a welcoming and soothing waiting area of the ocean and sea throughout the whole place. I believe this relaxes the patients especially kids who need to have braces etc. I would not go to any other oral surgeon . I called and the person that work at the billing department only work like tueday to Friday and she is extremely busy. I left a messages asking if they heard back from the insurance and they told me to call back when the person in charge isthere. I finally got a hold of her and was told that my insurance just send back the information and she will get back to me when a check for my difference will be mailed out. 2 weeks past and I got nothing in the mail. So I decided o call back and I was told that they try calling me and did not got a hold of me and left a message on my voicemail. I told her I never received any message. She then told me I need to file out a form that will be sent to my emai and to send it back to receive my money. I print the form and send it back . But on the form it says it can take up to 90 days to receive a check. This is rediculous. They took my 1000 dollars all at once the week before surgery but now I have to wait 90 days for a refund. My insurance company said since I was in network they should not have charged me upfront smh. I will not recommend them to anyone. And if I never follow up they would never had reach back out to me.
