AiristiA has a fantastic website as well and they sell a huge range of well chosen crystals, books, CD's and DVD's, cards and jewllery, insense, essential oils, etc. Ok, so there are many such shops around these days, but here's none like this one. And if you are interested in crystals, then this is an important place to be in touch with. Mike sources crystals from some special places - crystal skulls, Lemurians, new age crystals and his beautiful set of Nine Chakra Healing Crystals. These are absolutely amazing! It most definitely is not to everyone's taste, but it's my house mate's favourite shop and if you're a great lover of angels, fairies, unicorns and the like then it'll probably end up being yours too. While I can appreciate how lovely it is that a place like this exists, most things they sell really aren't to my taste. For some reason though, I really enjoy going in here. It seems to have an instant calming effect on me it smells gorgeous and they have that tinkly, meditative music playing constantly. Lots of the things in here are very pretty particularly these little cream and pastel-coloured hanging angels that come in a lovely little blue boxes to which you can attach a personal message. This is a great place for crystals too particularly polished agate slices in rainbow mixes of lovely, deep colours. It's also a good place to pick up leaflets and business cards from local people offering therapy, counselling and spiritual services.

And the case was sitting right beside a container of mood rings and copper bracelets...It just seemed a bit tacky. Decorative figurines were on display in the window and throughout the shop - mostly fairies, but some were unicorns and tiny bears...Not sure what the connection is there. I noticed a small collection of books and tarot cards, but nothing too eye catching. In summary - low quality for cheap prices.

Charlie's rock shop might rock your world (ehem...sorry.)…read more Charlie (at least I assume the bloke behind the till was *the* Charlie) was happy and friendly even though we wandered in on a horrible rainy day. My friend wanted to come here because she bought her favourite pair of earrings here yeears ago...so we came in for a bit of a mooch. This place is full of interesting jewellery- some of it was gorgeous/ some of it was not really to my taste. BUT Jewellery is always a very personal thing to choose - so maybe other yelpers'd like the things I cringed at. There was also a large selection of different minerals and gemstones for sale...so this place would make any collector of stones happy. I bought a couple of pairs of pearl earrings with Stirling silver backs (for £6 each!!) and left very happy.

This shop will show you some beautiful geology. They have items from £2 to £200 of sheer beauty. Gorgeous necklaces, rings and other jewellery is available. This is a great place to buy rocks to make jewellery with. I have taken a few friends here to Charlie's Rock shop. They have always bought something and loved the store. A fair few have returned without me. So I have done something good apart from this review Charlie!!!
