Instead, Mr. Keenan completely abandoned his duties. Despite confirming that he was negotiating and communicating with opposing counsel (supposedly on my behalf), he never filed the appearance or responded to the motion. For many months he failed to notify the Court that he was even hired. Eventually, opposing counsel took advantage of the situation because he was tipped off through Keenan's negligent communication with him. Keenan's inaction directly caused my case to be dismissed by default. This goes beyond simple neglect. Keenan actively misrepresented the status of my case while failing to perform the most basic functions of legal representation.
