On both July 20 and 21, 2025, we went here for some items we needed. One side of the entry doors remained blocked both visits. I was always the first to greet employees. Nonetheless, I'm always grateful that Walgreens has their own private label that sells cheaper OTC (over-the-counter) drugs.

I have been running all over town trying to pick up my prescriptions, and I still don't have them…read moreboth. The Walgreens closest to my end of town just texted me that they received my prescription, nothing else. The next day (yesterday) I went to pick it up, only to find out they were closed for the 4th of July. I went back today only to find that the pharmacy has at some point started closing on weekends, but I could drive out to another Walgreens across town and get it. I did, and after waiting forever they told me they only had one of them, but I could get the other at yet a third location. So here I went across town again, only to be told that no, they didn't have it. I'm changing pharmacies, and I'm telling all my friends. They're all also old with multiple prescriptions. Walmart corp. lost money last year -- maybe they should cut their CEO's salary and reinvest in their stores. In the meantime, they'll get no more business from me.

After my recent experiences, but specifically my experience tonight, at the Central Ave location, I'm honestly questioning why. I had a prescription that had been pending for an entire week. I was told it would be ready today, yet I received no updates or communication of any kind. Because I needed it urgently, I called the pharmacy multiple times throughout the day. Each time, my call was either picked up and immediately hung up, or I was left on hold for extremely long periods--over 30 minutes once, and more than 16 minutes another time and then was still hung up on. When I finally reached someone, the situation somehow got worse. The woman who answered was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. She told me she had been on vacation and had "no idea" what was going on with my prescription. When I asked if she could check with another employee, she refused--not because no one was available, but simply because she didn't want to. She also said she couldn't help because it was "late," even though I had been calling all day and being hung up on. She showed zero concern when I explained how frustrating the repeated hang-ups were. She wouldn't check other Walgreens locations in Hot Springs, wouldn't look into the delay, and wouldn't offer any solution at all. The call ended with her giving me a sarcastic, cheerful "no problem" after providing absolutely no assistance. This level of customer service is unacceptable. The lack of communication, the repeated hang-ups, and the outright refusal to help were beyond unprofessional. I've trusted Walgreens for decades, but this experience at the Central Ave location was genuinely shocking. Walgreens needs to address this immediately. No customer should be treated this way--especially when they're relying on a time-sensitive prescription.

FLORAL REVIEW I used…read morethis location for my wedding bouquets. I know what you're thinking and I was there too at first. A grocery store for a wedding?? I decided at the LAST MINUTE that I'd like to have a bouquet for my bridal pics. Coming from out of town, I wasn't sure what to do. I called and spoke with the floral manager, I believe his name is Ron, and told him what I had in mind. He communicated with me by text message and photograph to show me what he'd created. That was actually HIS idea! The first bouquet that in my mind was going to be so awesome turned out to be a bit odd. This was my contraption and it just didn't work out. I sent him a photo back and by the next day he'd recreated the pink rose and lily bouquet to a T! The prices were amazing, as well! I absolutely wanted to use them for my wedding after the awesome service for my bridal bouquet. I wanted to have the same bouquet for my wedding and let him use his imagination for my bridesmaids, corsages and bouts. I had no clue what they'd be like but when I saw them, oh boy! He'd created these rustic, blue and cream bouquets. They were beautiful! Everyone's flowers were so awesome and at one bridal bouqet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 4 corsages and 10 bouts, we cashed out at less than $300.

Anyway to many bad things to name that has happened to me and my wife there. OK enough about them! sorry had to vent! Now HTP is the absolute best pharmacy I have ever been to in my life! No Joke!!! They really know what there doing there! Always fast service, friendly staff, low prices on everything in the store. its just an all around Awesome place to go for your healthcare needs!!!!!! It probably wouldn't be so upsetting if they had been that way from the start, but I guess I should have known they were fake when they seemed overly nice when I first went in. I could have expected to have been treated that way if the name of the business was Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde's Pharmacy. They need to do themselves and their customers a service and show who they are each time so people can decide if they want to take that chance each time to be treated like a human being or disrespected like scum of the earth.

The woman walked off without acknowledging us at the window. I figured ok there's someone at the counter, so I can wait a couple of minutes. 10 minutes later, still no acknowledgement and the woman walked past the window several times. Definitely cold outside, but no such thing to say "we are backed up, could you come back later, etc"... nothing .... I was there to pick up 2 Rx after receiving a notification from the pharmacy. So will try again tomorrow, but I certainly hope it is a different person than the one today.. Follow-up Friday Jan 5.... drove up to the window, one car in front, then I pulled up, got immediate attention, order was filled, person at window was very pleasant, and this is the type of customer service I've been use to... so I figure, might have been a new person the other day or maybe they were short-handed.... so today my review would be 5 stars.... so I'm upgrading the numbers above...

But if you are Like me and used to small town fast sweet service then - Sister! This pharmacy is for you!!! I much much prefer doing business with real small town people who know me and appreciate my business AND take the time to check my meds and remember me from each time I visit. Very fast. Very efficient and cost the same. AND very close!!! I stand amazed when I see all the people sitting in chairs waiting at some huge places as those I mentioned. I detest waiting.
