My attorney repeatedly remarked that their handling was absolutely unacceptable and disappointing. A short list of issues (from a very long list!) includes continuously responding late to my lawyer, lying on the paperwork that they drafted so my lawyer would have to spend more time (and more of my money) to get them to correct items like my birthdate, income, etc. They dragged things out so much, which I assume is a tactic used to milk their clients for additional hours. Our divorce took almost a year longer than it should have! At one point I had to go their office to retrieve paperwork that they were legally required to submit by a timeline- when I arrived they only printed a fraction of what we were supposed to. Again and again this is how they mismanaged our case. And now, a year after the divorce has been final and they still haven't submitted the paperwork properly to the courts for the dispersion of the pensions (QRDO's). After leaving multiple messages, I finally received a call back from the office who then preceded to connect me to him for a meeting over the phone... he got on the line and literally screamed at me and hung up! So incredibly rude. It is because of his offices mistakes that they continue to cause these issues. I didn't request a phone call meeting with him- all I want to know is where is our QDRO in process!? 2 of the 3 QDRO's are completed and filed in the courts. The 3rd one is just floating in their dysfunctional and disgraceful office. The entire system of divorce attorneys is a complete and utter sham, taking advantage of people who are already struggling thru one of the most difficult periods of their life. This office is inept at representing their own clients, and lacks any sense of decorum. Please save yourself the time, energy and money and find another lawyer that may still rob you, but maybe at least they'll treat you and your soon to be ex-spouse with bit of respect or common decency. Regardless of us filing for divorce- we were married for 30 years and have 3 children together. The least a respectable attorney could do is treat all parties respectfully. Absolutely disgraceful.

I emphasized that my hearing was in 2 weeks and she needed to decide if she was going to take me as a client. She waited completely till the day before my hearing and said she would take my case. She then told me a ridiculous amount of money and expected me to come up with the money the day before. Which I could get but not within 12 hours before my hearing. At this point I asked her to file an appearance and get on zoom and ask the judge for more time. She completely threw me under the bus and bailed on me. I told her I could give her $1000 deposit to at least show up for my hearing to ask for more time but said she would not till a contract was signed and I paid the full amount. I told them to go ahead and do up a contract. They totally ghosted me. So, I had to go into my hearing without a lawyer and learn within 20 minutes of my hearing to become a lawyer. I went thru my hearing and had no Idea what to do or say. I pretty much did everything on the fly, made a ton of mistakes (as I'm not lawyer), went up against a prosecutor with years of experience and won. I could not believe it. I probably did better at my hearing then this law firm would have done. With no experience? Then I receive an email stating they were not interested in my case. Well too late....... I handled it. These people have no clue how to email or call people back. I can't believe these people have any work on how idiotic they are. Believe me don't hire them. You will be better off going to your hearings without a lawyer then with this law firm.
