This was shortly after they opened. What a HORRIBLE experience! After this I checked where Patel worked before. They had similar reviews re: money and service which the pet did not need.

She and I discussed Alpine Veterinary Hospital as I had been recommended to them by another family. So back to that terrifying day this last fall. The office told her to come immediately, when she arrived carrying our tiny puppy in - the vet was waiting at the counter for her and instantly took our puppy to the back for treatment. Their kindness and compassion is what has us so pleased. This truly feels like a small-town vet. The entire staff is professional and caring. We feel that everyone there cares about their jobs and the animals. Which then makes the humans happy.

I found Dr. Boonstra to be rough with my fragile, 4.5 lb little cat lady, not competent and unwilling to provide rationales for expensive procedures. And all of this after a 50 minute wait! The medical director, Dr. Sanderson, has refused to even acknowledge that Dr. Boonstra could have harmed Marilyn, let alone offer remedial action. There is no professional accountability in this clinic and even Marilyn's medical records were inaccurate. I am heartbroken and deeply upset that a visit intended to help a fragile, elderly cat instead resulted in further injury and suffering. Marilyn spent nearly two decades surviving outdoors before I rescued her; she deserved gentleness, caution, and thoughtful care in her final years.

I drive 55 miles to and from, because of the kindness of their staff :) My primary DVM is Dr. Lesley Diehl - she is very understanding, thorough, compassionate & helpful. Today we also saw the Lead Vet Tech, Shanae' - she took the time to explain some concerns I had regarding preventative meds & had a great bed-side manner, taking blood & cutting nails on my nervous boy. We had recently changed our Vet from being out of town, to closer due to all our ages, and wanted to be closer to establish care for our two dogs. After Duke's first Annual Visit, he had his first "Senior Blood Panel" he had high levels of Kidney/Pancreas results. Dr Kramer prescribed digestive dog food, and a supplement of Denamarin for next couple of weeks. Dukie appeared to be fine, with the exception of stool color, texture was loose. x2 weeks later losing weight, and blood test again much higher. Dr. Kramer and her staff, was amazing. Dr. Kramer continued "Process of elimination" of Duke's symptoms and labs. She was always so optimistic! But a momma knows!! right? We together, decided to get an Ultrasound done. Long story short, Duke had Lymphoma, which effected his entire abdomen. The next x2 weeks was Duke's Bucket list as he rapidly declined in health. Dr. Kramer and her Staff taught me how to administer Duke's "Cocktail" (fluids) in case he needed to be hydrated on weekends, let me just come in and check in weight, and given support with my questions. When Duke decided it was his time, I called, and they prepared for his Day. Specialized parking, sign out front, couches, pillows, music, treats and a little more TIME. So beautiful and comforting. Private entrance. A wonderful paw print, and cremation container to bring our Big Boy home. Dr Kramer and her Staff, supported all my decisions, with her professionalism, care & empathy. They sent us a Sympathy card a week later, and also planted a Tree in honor of our Sweet Big boy! It honestly, doesn't get any better than this!! I can't thank them enough, or be more grateful. He is not available every day but on the days he is here and available for appointments, we have always had great customer service and our dog has gotten excellent care. They offer many services from normal checkups to teeth cleaning, and also have a wide variety of medication available. There are a few employees that have been a little short with me in the past but I don't think they work there anymore. Most everyone now is super friendly and awesome. Would highly recommend!!
