However, their team made everything so much more manageable by being incredibly communicative, patient, and supportive throughout. They consistently kept me informed, explained things in a way that was easy to understand, and made sure I felt confident moving forward at every stage. What I appreciated most was how much they truly cared, not just about the outcome, but about making sure I felt heard and supported along the way. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication really set them apart. I'm extremely thankful for everything they've done and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a team that will advocate for them and guide them through the process with care.

I was pregnant and only had five days to decide if I wanted to sign a severance agreement. I had called at least ten other firms and Brightwood got back to me almost immediately. Soon after, Brightwood took over my severance negotiations and I was really pleased with the results. These people actually care and my results are a testament.

Exceptional Representation and Outstanding Results!…read more I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. From our very first consultation, my legal team demonstrated unmatched professionalism, deep expertise, and a strategic approach to my case. They navigated a highly complex employment dispute with absolute confidence, ensuring that I was informed and protected every step of the way. Thanks to their tireless dedication and exceptional negotiation skills, we secured a successful resolution that far exceeded my expectations. If you want a team that will truly fight for you and deliver results, look no further. Special shout out to Attorney Nare who was with me most of the way, and throughout my mediation and final settlement. As well as Attorney Bryan, who was there with me and Nare during the mediation and settlement process.

I ultimately decided not to retain Shegerian & Associates, but I wanted to leave this review…read morebecause prospective clients should carefully read and compare the firm's contingency agreement before signing. My case was accepted on contingency, and the agreement I received called for 50% of the gross recovery. It also contained provisions concerning an additional fee for appellate work if the firm handled an appeal, mandatory arbitration of attorney-client disputes, and limitations on representation if the underlying employment dispute were compelled to arbitration. I was actively interviewing several respected plaintiff-side employment firms at the same time. The competing agreements I received were materially more favorable -- roughly 33%-40% with one firm and 35% at the pre-litigation stage with another. Those firms were evaluating the same case and evidence. I asked Shegerian whether they would modify several terms. They responded promptly, but the 50% contingency was described as non-negotiable, the attorney-client arbitration provision would remain, and they could not yet tell me which attorney would actually be assigned to handle my case. I was told the handling attorney would be selected later after onboarding and case-management review. Another factor in my decision was the intake experience. I received frequent follow-up calls while I was evaluating counsel, even after asking for some space to complete my interviews. After I explained that I was comparing multiple active offers, I was given a deadline of the following day at 5:00 PM to sign or respond. That level of urgency did not work for me, particularly when the identity of the attorney who would handle the case was still unknown. To be fair, the firm answered my contract questions in writing, respected my ultimate decision, and promptly closed my file after I declined. I am not commenting on their courtroom ability or the results they obtain for other clients. My advice to anyone considering the firm is simply: read the retainer carefully, understand how the contingency is calculated, ask who will actually handle your case, and compare the terms with other qualified employment firms before signing. For my situation, the economics and representation model were not competitive with the alternatives available to me.

When she accepted full responsibility at the scene, I (very naively) allowed her to fill the police officer in on what happened. I discovered later she completely changed her story, and I was found at fault. When my first lawyer, recommended by a family friend, seen the police report, he dropped my case with a smile and a handshake. I called a motorcycle accident speciality insurance company and told them the circumstances; when I told them the police report went against me (even though it's inadmissible in court, as responding police are not witnesses) they had no interest, only interested in quick and easy surefire cases. I thought my backside had been saved when another friend recommended a trial lawyer, who agreed to take on my case. He sent me to a doctors for assessment, got x-rays and MRIs.... only for him to also suddenly drop my case because of the police report (even though he was aware of it from the start. Thus I was left with a wrecked motorcycle, an untreated injury, a huge pile of medical bills, collections companies starting to call me... and zero compensation. I'd completely given up hope... and then, in February of this year, I found Ferma Law Group. Shant and Raffi listened to my story, recognized how unjust I'd been treated, and took on the case. A few months later, the entire matter is resolved. I had enough money to repair my bike, pay all my medical bills, and received monetary compensation I am more than happy with. They handled in a matter of months - and this is through the COVID - pandemic, what three other law firms couldn't (or wouldn't) do in two years. They handled everything from start to finish, almost entirely over the phone, including negotiating my medical bills WAY down and paying them off for me, as well as getting the collections agencies off my back. I had honestly written the entire incident off before finding Ferma. I couldn't recommend them more strongly.
