Your service department tried to fix it and could not. 2 different service managers in writing told us to bring the camper back another day and you will replace the water pump with a different make/model. I needed repair on a slide and my fridge on propane as I was on an RV trip in Wyoming. We are full time RVers so when we have a problem we have no where to go. We had some toilet issues with our foot pump not operating correctly. After an hour or so of frustrating calls to several dealers and service departments we lucked out and called Smith's RV in the Casper, WY area. Our first impression was we actually got to talk to a real human who then transferred us to the service department. I was ready for the usual multiple rings and then sent to voicemail when the service manager Casey picked up right away. I explained the problem and fully expected him to say they would replace the base or the whole toilet which of course means we would have to wait for parts. On the contrary, he said they would try to repair our existing parts. That's old school, these are real mechanics who know how to fix things rather then just replace parts. He also said we didn't need an appointment to just come on by and they'd squeeze us in. When was the last time you heard that? We were in Nebraska and actually drove over three hours out of our way to go to Casper and we are so glad we did. This shop is the way things used to be...good. When we pulled in Casey dropped what he was doing, got one of their technicians and they were on it within 2 mins of our arrival. The technician figured out right away what the problem was, they actually had the parts to fix it and we were in and out in no time. I don't want to tell you how inexpensive it was because they can't keep charging this little and stay in business. This level of service is vanishing in the RV world. On our earlier calls to name brand chains we were told the next appointment would be anywhere from next week to three months out! If you ever experience a problem in the Casper, WY area or anywhere close it is worth your while to go to Smith's RV. It will save you valuable time and money. Our motor home needed some work on the generator. It was near closing but they immediately sent a technician out to help us. Turns out the problem was bigger than I thought, but they still replaced a part and checked what the real problem might be. By the time they were done looking at everything, it was past closing so they did not charge for their assistance. I highly recommend this business and plan to go back to them for sure if we have any problems while in Casper!!!!! read more

Buyer beware. I spent over $40,000 on a brand new camper and the sold me a fifth wheelhitch that was the wrong one for my pickup resulting in almost $ 1000 damage to my pickup. I contacted them they reinstalled the correct hitch for free but told me to bad on the damage ! The fridge did not work and the AC unit worked poorly , the table broke and got a staple in our foot from carpet. When I brought it back for repairs they said there was nothing wrong with the unit and they didn't even know they still had the unit at their shop. I ask them very pleasantly to assist in the damage and extra expenses due to brand new unit not working properly. They told me everything was my fault. So I will not spend my money here and I highly suggest for everyone to do their business elsewhere. read more

I'll update if things change. I just bought a new camper from here. It was the last thing I thought I was going to do today. I've been in the market for awhile but I haven't been able to pull the trigger, so to speak. Then I walked into Smiths and was greeted by Keith(salesman) and Cassidy(finance guy). They was so helpful and kind, I trusted Keith immediately. After I left, I realized I didn't haggle. I always haggle when buying a vehicle and save myself thousands off asking price! I check against KBB and NADA to make sure the offer is fair. How could I forget such an important step???! Well folks, guess what? The fair purchase price off NADA was right on with the offer they gave me. In fact, I didn't get all the options in there, and I think I am even ahead a little. I've never bought a camper before, so maybe this is the norm, but I sure feel like these guys were an exception. I felt like I was treated extremely well, the whole experience was exceptional! i was employed with this outfit did good work showed up every day completed any task asked and right before my 90 they let me go out of no where . they out of the blue asked me to take a urine test with no reason no explanation this place hired me without a test why would they ask now ! then i called to get my last check and the owners wife tami did not have it ready . she had told me that property was damaged and she would have to get with her husband pat and the repairman mike before they pay me .. in all honesty i never bent a screw never damaged a thing id swear on my life ..ive been through this with a different company it went well and that company has stated a reason why they wanted to test me it was only for insurance purposes i complied passed and continued to work for that company over 3 years. i feel i was used by smith rv i wonder if they do this to others . i have heard roomers its sad .. fyi im a single father . i never thought they were a shasty but from how they treated me i can relate to others! lmk what ya'll think comments implored! read more
