She will send you for blood work, MRI, X-ray, or anything she feels is necessary to diagnose your condition. In today's society not many doctors want to take on a patient that needs meds or has numerous medical issues because they think you just want medication or they can't just get you in and out like herding cattle. I have found Dr Patterson not afraid to jump on any medical problems you have and be willing to address any issues to be able to treat you.

They are not usually quick in and out but I feel that I am getting the care that I did not get with larger city medical office locations. They never offered to transport me. They instead referred my severe pain to my anxiety telling me it wasn't that bad. They then told me to go home take tylenol 3 and wait until Monday and follow up with an ortho doc. my husband had to tote me in and tote me out. They refused a stretcher unless we dialed 911 from the parking lot. I was immediately taken to Waycross hospital where I was immediately giving meds to ease the pain and then taking directly to surgery, where I was placed in an external fixator. 10 weeks later I'm still in the ex fix being told this is one of the worst break one can gave and a year plus recovery. All whole homerville sent me home on tylenol and told my husband to take a benedryl so he could deal with my anxiety self. never been treated so rude in my life.

He is hard to get in with but if you are lucky enough to score an appointment you will be highly pleased. I do have insurance, and their cost is reasonable. I was taken aback when I had labs done in office before I had insurance, that would be my only complaint. But Dr Jackson did not hesitate to write me a Rx to have my blood work done In an outside facility where it was $$$ much cheaper. The offices are really nice and the staff is very nice and helpful. I do not mind seeing Dr Jackson at all.
