Richard and his team exceeded our expectations in every respect. Smith Buildings constructed our new car lot facility with 4 bay garage with an office. They took care of every aspect including the difficult task of dealing with SC permits. From site prep to the turn over of the keys the job went smooth and ahead of schedule. If I could give a negative rating I would. I've never dealt with a more unprofessional business. We were referred here when we asked a neighbor who built his garage/storage building. So we stopped by their office one day to schedule an appointment to get a quote. We made 4 or 5 appointments over about a two-month period and the guy never showed up to any of them. We waited a couple of months and tried again, but once again no one ever showed up to any of the appointment that we scheduled. I'd rather have someone who is reliable, and actually shows up to their appointments. Not only would I not use or recommend this business, I would strongly advise anyone considering them not to use this business. read more

It's unfortunate that I have experienced poor service with this company. I had friend who wanted to who built my storage sheds but couldn't recommend this company. The service was less than desirable. Constant postponement of services, and although they built a good storage shed, the follow us service was deplorable. I spent week requesting that they built a ramp to the shed until I finally gave up and hired someone else to do it. I could never use them again. On a good note, the secretary Coleen was very empathetic to my plight and I did enjoy working with her. Such potential if only they would focus on making the customer happier. They could have gotten a lot more business for me. Unfortunate! read more
