I wasn't a well behaved kid by any stretch of the imagination, not misbehaved, per sé but just doing childish things such as talking during quiet time, playing with toys at nap time, etc etc. There was a worker named Ms. Zena who would constantly scream at children, drag them by their collar, hit students in the head with this hard red wooden dowel which had bruised me multiple times, and taking my peers's toys they brought from home and throwing them away. They also favor the African American students a lot more than the Caucasian ones. I can recall the time I needed stitches on my forehead after a kid(African American) threw a chair at me(White). He didn't get a single bit of trouble because I "antagonized him", and when my parents showed up to come get me, the staff misconstrued the entire ordeal and said I started hitting him before he threw the chair. I had to sit out of the birthday party the next day while he enjoyed the cupcakes. I was legitimately scared of the place until I started riding the bus in 5th grade. They would antagonize kids to beat up on my little sister, this group of girls started choking me when we were playing outside, I told the daycare staff, and they didn't say anything until they did it again. My friends had to get her off of me and she slammed my head into the wall (the daycare staff looking still not saying anything btw) and I got in trouble after I hit her back. The reason? Because they were girls and I was a boy (they were in 5th grade and I was in 3rd). They also smoked weed and drank around the children, and they would spray us with water or throw ice at us from the Zaxby's cup they finished drinking out of. From the bottom of my heart, fuck this place, take your business elsewhere, and to the cool daycare workers that actually cared about me and my future like Ms. Jackie, I'm going to come back soon, and maybe we can chat.

This is the only place he did not like going. Everytime I went to pick him up all the kids to include him looked scared. I heard teachers screaming at kids in the others rooms as well. The owner is very good at faking a smile to the parents. Teacher don't care and mistreat the kids. This place needs to be shut down.

You can read the incident report. What the incident report doesn't state is the truth the that cameras show. Veronica was standing right in front of my son as he stepped onto a chair and then jumped onto another chair and then jumped to the floor. He then circled Veronica to do it all again 5 times in a row until the chair flipped back and he busted his head. The other teacher in the class also walked right by him as he was jumping out of the chair on her phone. I have proof that the Area Director for Growing Room told me that she also did not feel safe with my son in Veronica's care. Instead of removing Veronica from the center they relocated her to another room. So she can now neglect other children in the center. They guaranteed me she would never be in contact with my son. I've been promised that before when walked in on a teacher snatching by his arm. That promise was never kept she was around my son many many times. Before she was fired months later. Needless to say I left there with my registration fees and tuition were reimbursed. Now I'm without childcare because they put a negligent employee before the safety of their children.
