Went up there to check out this car wash that is supposedly good. I thought I was gonna get scammed for an overly priced wash and a poor job. However my car did come out pretty clean minus a spot or two and I had no damage done. The pricing wasn't bad either. This really sweet girl recommended me the best prices and even set me up with a membership. I think the name was Katelyn or something like that. She was super sweet and patient with me. I really like how she took into consideration my car and what I need before setting me up with fair prices. I wasn't automatically being bribed into the highest membership like most companies do. She was actually helping me and my car came out pretty clean from taking her advice. I'm definitely coming back again! read more

Apple Maps said they are open until 8pm. I got there at 7:20 PM. I drove out of my way tonight to get there and they were closed. Darn folks wasting my time because they can't provide accurate info on the internet. I will go back to get my car cleaned tomorrow. They do have a nice wash.....However they wasted my dang time.....On a Friday night. I could have been spending time with my wife. Or smoking meats on my BBQ. Or watching the MLB playoffs. Been taking my car to Smitty's for a good while It's a fairly new car 2023 Telluride Last time through the car wash it ripped the trim off of the rear window Of course they say they're not responsible, but that's bullshit You damage somebody's car and you're responsible I'm gonna have the car repaired and once I have the charges, I'm gonna sue them a small claims court Do yourself a favor and find somebody else to wash your car They say the trim was missed aligned . Well that's bullshit. They're not a Kia dealer And the car's been through their two dozen times without a problem They just don't stand behind what they do . BUYER BEWARE!!! The nice manager greeted me & explained the options and specials they were running that day. I'm sorry I didn't get his name b/c he is the best thing Smitty's has going for them!. I then pulled up through the gate to & got out to remove my car magnets & turn in my side-view mirrors.The attendant who was "directing me" onto the conveyor belts seemed to be annoyed that I was taking so long. I admit it was a hot day, but he was in the shade, and there was no line behind me. He wasn't helpful when I was trying to get my wheels onto the conveyor belts. Seriously, this person only had a few jobs to do & it was obvious that he didn't care about doing them correctly! Smitty's charges $5.00 to $16.00 more than any other drive-through car wash for a basic to premium wash. Gas station washes usually charge less than $8.00 to $12.00 per wash. Smitty's does none of those things mentioned below, except for a quick & inefficient brush of the front & rear bumpers before going through the automated wash. Misleading details such as the claims listed below are done by the car owner. Every independent car wash I've ever gone to has employees providing services such as vacuuming, cleaning the inside windows & wiping down the vehicle. Their slick & colorful flyer states the following is included in every wash: -High performance vacuums -Detailing air -Mat cleaner -Window cleaner -Drying towels This is the part where I have to admit I wasn't paying attention to the wording on the flyer. I thought that once I went through the automated wash, that there would be employees to vacuum, wipe down, dry, & clean the inside of my SUV. Technically the flyer is correct, but I wasn't the only one who was disappointed when I came to find out that I had to do all of the services myself. At least I didn't have to tip anyone! I'm so glad that I hadn't purchased a monthly package, since this car wash does nothing more than your average gas station drive-thru. If you have bugs on your car, don't come here. That little brush doesn't do the trick. You guys need a bug wash spray and a high pressure spray. I ran it through twice and bugs were still on my ride. Hacienda is the best car wash in Greenville. They're cheaper, car gets cleaner. and they dry off your car. Too bad they close at 5. That's the only reason I came over here. read more

Started out as a really good car wash but is gradually going downhill. Last couple of times it hasn't cleaned as well and I didn't get my tire shine twice in a row. I spoke with another person there cleaning his truck and he said the same thing. I will be canceling my $35 monthly membership. Told the attendant that was working but I'm not for sure he knows what planet he is on. Too bad. I guess I will try the other new car wash south of the big Walmart. read more

GREENVILLE, TEXAS DAMAGE TO FRANCES GREEN'S 2025 MERCEDES GLC 300 4MATIC DATE OF INCIDENT: SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2025 LOCATION OF INCIDENT: SMITTY'S CARWASH 6112 WESLEY ST. GREENVILLE, TX 75402 PHONE: 430-413-5001 DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT: I drove my car described above to Smitty's for a car wash on the afternoon of Sunday, June 1, 2025. At that time, I also purchased a car wash plan by joining the Membership Club to with the intention of keeping my new car washed and clean. I had been to Smitty's carwash on prior occasions with other cars. I asked the attendant who directs cars through the carwash if he could be sure my tires would come out of the car wash clean. He directed me to back the car up which I did putting my car in reverse. He pulled a hose around the driver's side to hose down the two tires on that side. The hose was connected to water on the passenger side. Then he pulled the hose back around to the passenger side of the car, hosed down the tires on that side and put up the hose. At that point, he took his customary position on the driver's side at the actual entrance of the carwash itself and motioned me forward. The procedure in the past has been that the attendant uses hand motions to communicate with the driver and to give directions to the driver because the car wash is so loud. The attendant motions the driver and car forward up to a certain point where he then motions to the driver to stop the car. Next, he has the driver put the car in neutral to enter the car washing process. This time, the attendant continually motioned me forward never giving me the signal to stop the car. I was watching his hand motions intently because I expected him to stop me at the point where I needed to stop and put the car in neutral. This last step in the process did not happen. At NO time did he motion for me to stop or communicate to me to put the car in neutral. He kept motioning me forward until in a split second, I was suddenly on the conveyer without his stopping me to put the car in neutral. I had no opportunity to put the car in neutral and had absolutely no control of the car going through the car wash. I applied the car brakes as hard as I could and tried to steer it. My braking and steering had absolutely no effect. My car with me inside flew through the carwash out of control hitting some of the washing equipment and came out the other end covered with soap. I pulled around to the south side of the facility and asked to speak to someone employed by Smitty's. The attendant who directed me into the car wash process called the assistant manager, Blake, out to talk to me. Blake made a report and took pictures of the damage for the corporate office. Blake told me the company will contact me within 3 days. To this day, I have had no contact or communication whatsoever from the company or corporate office. On Thursday, June 12, 2025, I had not heard from a representative from the Smitty's company about the incident and resulting damage to my car that Blake had told me to expect. I called the local Smitty's Car Wash in Greenville and spoke with Neil who answered the phone. Neil told me to call back and talk with the Site Manager Jason who would be in from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM the next day. I called between those hours the next day but was unable to reach Jason. On Monday, June 16, 2025, I called Smitty's in Greenville again to try to reach Jason, the Site Manager. I was told Jason would be at the local Smitty's at 1:00 PM that day. I was able to talk with Jason at 1:00 who told me the corporate office would not contact me by phone but would only make contact by email. Jason also advised me to check my spam and junk folders. I checked spam and junk and all other folders but found no communication from Smitty's. Now, two months later, I still have not heard anything at all from the Smitty's company. Not a single word. I still cannot move forward with repairs to the new car I had purchased only 3 months before it was damaged at Smitty's carwash. I write this as a word of warning to anyone thinking about the chance they are taking if they choose to use Smitty's carwash. With better training for employees and improvements to equipment, maybe I would have been spared this truly horrifying experience and an incredibly badly damaged new car needing expensive repairs. Paid $20 for a car wash with tore shine. Only driver side got tire shine. My wheels were still dirty. Passenger tires dull no shine. Went to vac out the xar. Vac hoses hardly have any suction and no clean rags. This was at 1045 am on a Sunday. 2nd time i tried this car wash n last time. We only went cause our regular place is closed on sundays. In future i will wait for Hacienda car wash to be open. read more
