A rather plain type of place but with good food and service. Prices in the normal range.

Normal Smitty's (big) menu, but no alcohol on it.. asked which beers available and a handwritten list on the back of a receipt was provided.. which are draft and which are bottles? Answer: you can get what you want.. Wierd but ok.. Kokanee draft. Someone else comes.. totally out of Kokanee.. fine.. Rickards was on the list, which one? Stopped in for a quick lunch while travelling. The restaurant was a desert so I when into the lounge side. Was recommended to order from the lounge menu by the bartender. Chicken quesadillas, easy enough, was my choice but I couldn't even choke it down. Only after turning to leave I realized that the "cook" was sitting behind me drinking his lunch. Yesterday, I had breakfast there with family. Mediocre food and service - instead of a nice fluffy omelette I was hoping for, my omelette was more like fried processed egg folded around the uncooked toppings and topped with a slice of cheese. I make better pancakes with a mix at home. The tea water was cool for tea. Rather disappointing for a place that specializes in breakfast. read more

Pathetic. Worst Smittys I've ever been to. Service was rude and unknowledgeable. Said she wasn't on the floor much. Why was she in the floor then? No desserts available at all. Salad was more like lettuce with dressing. Really strange considering I've had other great Smittys experiences. read more

My friends and I visit this restaurant quite regularly for breakfast or lunch and we find the food and the service quite good.

All the tupperware was stained, ordered a mild steak got it raw or what they call rare, slow service. Just go to Subway if you're just driving by and are hungry, cheaper and better. read more

Our server seemed distracted. She seemed to be the only one working. She was quick to sit us and get our drinks. We were ordering breakfast and it was done quickly. When it came time to get our bill she was nowhere in sight. We tracked her down in the back where all the staff was congregated and laughing and chatting. I have nothing against having fun at work but only after you know your customers are taken care of. It is crazy that there is no till to pay at.
