I truly appreciate how they put reduced prices on items, hoping to salvage it instead of having to toss it. The bathroom is nice-ish looking but both the soap dispensers were broken and just sitting on the counter. I do like that they have a toddler seat in the bathroom for when you need a place to secure your kid because either they don't walk yet or you don't want them crawling/crouching under stalls ‍ They have a Caroline's Cart for a child with special needs, two "fun" carts but no small sized carts for kids to push themselves like a couple other Krogers.

If you've had Middle Eastern-style grill spots before, you've had this. Plenty of lamb and shawarma options, but nothing that really stands out. The one exception: the Thai peanut chicken wings and the shoestring fries are actually really good and worth ordering. They also advertise a huge beer selection--something like 100 options--but in reality, the taps are rarely all running, which takes away from what could be a big highlight. One thing that stood out on my last visit was how strong the smell of cleaner was inside. It was almost overpowering and made it tough to sit and enjoy a meal. On the flip side, it was definitely clean--maybe just a little too clean in that moment. They redid the station and the store is very nice. So clean, plenty of delicious snacks. They have a nice cooler with plenty of drinks, candy, your typical gas station store fare but the kids really love shopping for their favorite Arizona drinks and assorted snacks. The individual working here was very nice and friendly. They even have a good section in the middle with cold sandwiches and salads that looked very tempting. The Sarokis offers pizza, chicken, tenders, fries, chicken sandwiches, cheese bread, and more. I am sure this will be competition for Crispy Crunchy Chicken locations. The gas was a bit pricey (I do not mean just for now due to circumstances outside their control) I just mean a pricier station than Costco (obviously). But regardless we will be back for more goodies, especially the kids.
