These guys are AMAZING! My son and I drove in from Vegas and our car happened to start to break down in the middle of the intersection, next to this car repair/smog test place. Do not come here to get your brakes done!! I came here about a year and a half ago to get new brake pads. Looking back on it, I should've done more research before coming here. Anyways, Peter helped me out and he told me that he could get the job done. So I trusted him and man they absolutely messed up my brakes. They put in new pads and resurfaced the rotors. Weeks later, they started screeching and so I just took it back and they put lubricant on my brakes or something? It was a temporary fix for about a few days. So I took it back again and they told me they resurfaced the rotors again and put more lubricant on it. AGAIN... brakes started screeching so I took it back a third time and they basically just told me they don't know why my brakes are screeching. They tried to tell me that it's normal. They definitely don't know what they're doing when it comes to brakes. I typically don't leave reviews but this terrible experience has weighed on my mind ever since. I went to smog pros to get some assistance filing for the Consumer Assistance program. Instead of giving me information that wasn't true to gain the business, they told me the truth and recommended I go to a Cap certified repair facility. Due the great price for the smog and the Cap repair facility saying the first step is smog inspection, I came back to do the test. Just your average smog check station. I'm glad this one is attached to an Arco. I get to buy some snacks while I wait. Smog test is $29.95 and the State Smog Test Certificate is an additional $8.25. To save money you can tell them you don't want the certificate since they are suppose to send it electronically the the DMV. Otherwise, they will charge you for the certificate which is basically a piece of paper that expires in 90 days. Its up to you! read more

Been coming here for years! Gary and his crew are super nice and honest! They don't over charge or trick you into fixing something that don't need it. For example: one time i made the mistake of going to pep boys for an oil change and they tried to get me to pay for new brake rotors. This was gonna cost a lot. So i went back to Gary on the next oil change and told him. He could have easily told me yes and charged me for this work. But he didn't. He said i didn't need all that work but he did check them and fixed the brakes but he didn't charge an arm and a leg for it.. I totally recommend going to them!!! read more

I found myself a new smog check spot I used to drive down to San Gabriel to an arco on Las Tunas which was quick and cheap but is no longer there. I happened to stumble upon this place while looking to do a smog test on my g35 coupe last week, and IM glad I did. This place is cheaper and i think closer than the other spot I went to that closed down. $38.20 (with certificate), about $10 cheaper than the place right around the corner from me. read more
