If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great food, strong drinks, good hookah, and outstanding…read moreservice, ATL Hookah Lounge in Hapeville is definitely worth checking out! It came highly recommended, so my friend and I decided to stop by on a Thursday night, and I'm so glad we did. We started at the bar, where our bartender, Tay, immediately made us feel welcome. She was attentive, personable, funny, and had excellent customer service. We kicked things off with lemon drops, and let me tell you... they were delicious! Strong, smooth, and made just right. As the evening went on, our party grew from two to six, so we grabbed a table. To our surprise, Tay transitioned from bartender to waitress, and somehow her service got even better. She never missed a beat. Since it was happy hour, we sampled several menu items, including the honey lemon pepper wings and fries, fried shrimp and fries, salmon bites and fries, fried green tomatoes, and the cornbread. Every single thing we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. There wasn't one item we regretted trying. Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering a hookah, and it was hitting! Smooth, flavorful, and lasted throughout the night. One thing I really appreciated was the atmosphere. It wasn't overly packed, but it had a nice crowd with great energy. The vibe leaned more mature, with mostly people in their late 30s, 40s, and 50s, which made for a relaxed, enjoyable evening. They have two bars, plenty of seating, and even an outdoor patio area if you want a little fresh air or a more private space. Parking was free and conveniently located on-site, which is always a plus. The bathrooms were also worth mentioning--small, nicely decorated, and very clean. The prices were another pleasant surprise. Happy hour food ranged around $8-$10, hookah was about $20, and the drinks were around $8. Great food, quality drinks, and hookah without breaking the bank? That's a win. I was told Wednesday has even better specials, but Thursday definitely didn't disappoint. Overall, ATL Hookah Lounge exceeded my expectations. Between the amazing service from Tay, delicious food, strong drinks, great hookah, mature crowd, and affordable prices, this place earned every bit of its 5 out of 5 stars. I'll definitely be back!

That hookah was on point, lasted the whole time and the flavor mix was perfect (yummy gummy and orange). The service was amazing from the waitress, to the hookah girl, and the bartender at the small bar, such dope energy! Everyone was so attentive, it may have been because it was winding down The food I had, lobster bites.... Delicious! The drink was perfection.... Im So ATL! They offered great customer service, I had a problem with a drink, they fixed it without hassle and gave me a shot for the error. I do recommend and will be going back, I have my eyes on some lamb chops.

But yeah my catfish and shrimp was indeed awful, they was out of slaw and no substitution because my server Susie said it's complimentary but it's listed on the menu as a side so I'm confused. I requested tartar sauce and cocktail sauce for my food and I had to wait for it because my server went to sit in the booth and smoke hookah with another guest. After waiting for her to finish puffing we locked eyes and then she went to get my sauce. I started eating and noticed my friend was correct. There grease is old AF. Uuuggghhhhhh Harold's has disappointed me and I been coming to this location since the soft opening. I won't discuss his grill chicken Caesar salad but he stopped eating after a few bites and asked where are we going to eat next. My server asked if I needed a box and I said no, it's not good....She just walked away :-/

Seating was pretty tight, so be prepared to make friends with your neighbor and the people standing in the walkway vibing lol. We got seated pretty quickly and were told of a 2 hour table maximum. As it got later, we could see why because the crowd started rolling in around 11pm. They also required each of us to get both a drink and food item in order to sit at a table. I got the calamari and was impressed. Great portion, crispy, hot. I really liked it. My drink? Not so much. Had a very syrupy, cough medicine taste. My friend said the same about their drink. Waitress was nice and attentive. GM was also nice and attentive. Overall traditional lounge atmosphere with loud music. Dj was pretty good and the tvs were streaming the fight. They went around giving the crowd shots at one point which I thought was pretty fun and a cute touch. Overall, nothing really blew me away.

I went for lunch with a friend for a bday outing. Since it's cold, there's a black covering that makes it looks closed, but don't worry, they're open. The inside is clean and pretty much looks new. We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well.
