This place is a gem in Peachtree City. I had the opportunity to go there on a recent trip and heard great things about it from a friend who lived in the area. I went for lunch with a friend for a bday outing. Since it's cold, there's a black covering that makes it looks closed, but don't worry, they're open. The inside is clean and pretty much looks new. We were greeted by a hostess when we got in and promptly seated. We started our meal with the hummus and lentil soup. The hummus is the smoothest I've ever had and was paired with some warmed up pita. I'm usually not a big fan of lentils but the soup was good. The broth had a nice flavor. I got the half order of Shish Tawook for myself and my friend got the falafel wrap. The half is quite filling and still very delicious. The chicken was moist for the most part as in between the pieces they felt kinda overcooked but all in all very good and seasoned well. The vegetables were also seasoned well. Beirut absolutely blew me away! Their menu has a huge variety of authentic Lebanese dishes, and I love that all the beef, chicken, and lamb are HALAL certified -- plus they offer plenty of gluten-free options, which is a big plus for my family. I ordered Brenda's Red Snapper and it was outstanding -- perfectly seasoned, fresh, and full of vibrant flavor. Easily one of the best snapper dishes I've ever had. For dessert, I tried the Baklava Cheesecake and WOW... the perfect fusion of classic baklava with a rich, creamy cheesecake. It was unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes. 5 star gem in Peachtree City. I was told this place has been open for a while but this was our first time coming. 1st, let me say that the red snapper with the tahini sauce is a real life MVP... As former residents of the Middle East, my husband and I have a genuine appreciation for authentic Lebanese food. Because of this, we were especially disappointed by our recent visit to one of our previously favorite local restaurants. We ordered shawarma for lunch--chicken for one of us and beef for the other. Unfortunately, when the dishes arrived, both were excessively burnt to the point that the meat was barely recognizable. The flavor and texture were far from what shawarma should be, and the quality was simply unacceptable. This experience was surprising and disappointing, given our past positive experiences at this restaurant. First time visiting this restaurant, I was a walk in with my father in law and did not have a reservation the restaurant was packed so we sat at the bar. The service was great and since I wasn't sure what I should get I ordered the Gyro platter. The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and came out hot exactly how I ordered it. While eating a gentleman named Hadi walked up to us and had a great conversation with me and when he found out it was our first time here he couldn't let me leave without trying something that is a staple of his restaurant and brought those lamb pops out for us to try. Once I tried them I immediately knew that I was going to be a frequent guest here. It's so great to see a restaurant that genuinely cares about their customers and strives for each guest to have a memorable experience. If you're in the area looking for a place to have a great meal with good staff and service this must be on your list to try. My only advice is to venture out on the menu and to look into getting a reservation if you're wanting an intimate experience. The food is incredible consistently every time, the service is fantastic, the staff cares about the quality, even the left overs taste amazing the next day. The dining room is small and intimate, you can have a conversation. This restaurant came highly recommended by neighbors and friends. We made reservations and arrived with high expectations. The hostess motioned to a table with her hand and said, "you will be over there." No showing us to our table. Then we sat for at least 15-20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. My mom visited this restaurant yesterday and had a raving review so I had to share it. Long story short, her doctor told her to try a Mediterranean diet and she found this restaurant. She had Brenda's Red snapper, which was suggested to her by the waitress there. The owner asked her how the food was and I guess he enjoyed her energy. They asked her if she wanted to try some wine and she said yes. The owner gifted her a bottle for Christmas, which I thought was very kind. She bought hummus, tabouli, and a shrimp skewer over rice for me (which I can't wait to try later today). I appreciate good service and can't wait to go here myself. Update: I went to pick up the food myself today. I walked in and ordered to go. It was nice and clean inside. Very chill ambiance and had a simple but classic setup. My order was quickly taken by one of the hosts, who was very friendly. It took about 10 minutes or so. I came home and DEVOURED my food. I was really hungry but I got the 1/5 shish kebab and my mom got the shrimp skewer. The fire roasted vegetables are still freshly crunchy with distinct grill marks. I ordered the steak medium because I was scared it would be tough. It was cooked too perfection and was easy to cut through with my butter knife. We just stumbled across this place, after hiking. There weren't any tables available, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was awesome. Made us feel like a member of the family. Told us the backstory of the restaurant and all about his favorites. His recommendations were perfect. We had the hummus, which was the creamiest and most silky of my life. We split the kebab sampler. The meat, chicken and sausage were cooked to perfection. My wife got tired of me raving about the rice (it was soooo damn good)! Food was good, as usual but we did not arrive till 3 and very different from what it is when you come right at lunchtime. That is why we come later...to avoid the crowd but instead of a quiet relaxing atmosphere to enjoy our lunch the music was extremely loud plus the choice of music itself was nothing I had ever heard before. I love music but not overpowering the conversation of the patrons. We have visited The Beirut many times for lunch and dinner. The food is consistently fabulous and serving sizes are generous. It is fun to make a meal of starters, including hummus (the best I've had in metro Atlanta), potatoes (worth the trip alone!), falafel, and cauliflower. The Foul Mudammas is insanely good and a huge serving. Pita bread is brought hot from the oven. Staff is friendly and helpful, and are present without being intrusive. read more

We were told by everyone we have met thus far in the southern ATL area that we needed to hit up The Beirut so we finally did... And the dish I was told to eat by almost everyone = The Red Snapper. Even when I asked our server if I should order the chicken shawarma or the red snapper, he said snapper, without even blinking. Of course I listened because my curiosity was like, I WANT TO SEE JUST HOW LIFE CHANGING THIS FISH IS.... Well. I hated it. HA HA HA HA! I ordered it with double veggies, no rice- the server even said my order out loud and asked if I wanted extra veggies instead of rice and... When my entree arrived, it was served with the rice (and sauce on it when I said no sauce too).... He gracefully took it back and they replated it, but I already had a bad taste in my mouth (even though the fried cauliflower we got was AWESOME - although I could see some people thinking it would be too salty)... At first bite, I said to myself, "I wish I ordered the shawarma." The fish was weirdly bitter (lemon).... and the seasonings in general were just so over powering. It was like spicy sour... Yeah, not exactly my favorite flavor profile. I ate it all because I'm not one to waste food, but I scraped the seasonings off the top of the fish cause I just couldn't do it. My husband got the lamb gyro and he told me his pita was over cooked and the gyro was undercooked. My MIL got the fish too and she didn't seem to mind it... The only thing I really liked was the cauliflower. I'll let everyone else hit up The Beirut for me cause I absolutely won't be back, not even to try the chicken shawarma, which is a bummer cause I love chicken shawarma. read more
