    Chicken gyro platter

Food was very good and well prepared. Authentic and flavorful. We felt the ambiance of being in the Middle East. We ordered the chicken gyro platter and the Turkish coffee. We enjoyed them both. Very friendly staff. Will keep this location in our rotation.

5 star gem in Peachtree City. I was told this place has been open for a while but this was our first time coming. 1st, let me say that the red snapper with the tahini sauce is a real life MVP... It was great! The lamb chops were seasoned very will. The spicy potatoes, the Greek salad, the list goes on... Everything was GREAT. The atmosphere was calm and warm. Even the little kids were quiet! Our server (I forget his name) was great and very attentive. All in all, we had a great experience

First time visiting this restaurant, I was a walk in with my father in law and did not have a reservation the restaurant was packed so we sat at the bar. The service was great and since I wasn't sure what I should get I ordered the Gyro platter. The food was amazing, everything tasted fresh and came out hot exactly how I ordered it. While eating a gentleman named Hadi walked up to us and had a great conversation with me and when he found out it was our first time here he couldn't let me leave without trying something that is a staple of his restaurant and brought those lamb pops out for us to try. Once I tried them I immediately knew that I was going to be a frequent guest here. It's so great to see a restaurant that genuinely cares about their customers and strives for each guest to have a memorable experience. If you're in the area looking for a place to have a great meal with good staff and service this must be on your list to try. My only advice is to venture out on the menu and to look into getting a reservation if you're wanting an intimate experience. Bravo Beirut staff and kitchen I will be a repeat customer for quite some time

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the lovely gem! Hubs & I went last week for lunch, and as always, everything was quite delicious! The customer service is alway superior! The ambiance is very tastefully done! The Beruit just checks all of the boxes, for us!

The food is delicious. Most dishes are Very Lebanese which I'm very relieved about. When I hear Beirut to me it means Lebanon and that's what I want to eat. Something coming out of my own kitchen. The restaurant needs a serious update. It's a bit too dark and old.

However, I have to say I have a love-hate relationship in a way. Love the food. ( when they get it right. More on that later in. ) Hate their mobile order app and their loyalty program. Those two things have caused more frustration and cost me more money than I care to talk about. In fact, I didn't eat here for over a year at one point because of the experience I had in using their app and ordering food for pickup.... It replaced my pickup location. A different one that was not anywhere near where I lived and wiped out all of my credits and points so that I ended up having to pay double and could not get a refund from the company because they blamed the app and the app blamed the company and it was just a mess. This is review is based off of my experience last night. I'll just make the recommendation here and then you can read the rest of it. 1 Open every box and every package when you're doing a pickup to make sure that they have given the actual food that you ordered. Don't just look at the ticket. Otherwise you need to just watch them make it and not order ahead. Regardless of the financial incentive, they dangle in front of you to use the app. 2 seriously do not order until you are literally on the way. Otherwise your food will be cold. They default to 15 minutes and instead of just having an option to say 30 minutes, you have to go through an elaborate calendar scheduling procedure to change the time to when you actually want to pick it up. 3 Don't try to change the tip on the app, because it doesn't know how to handle that and will end up charging you the 20% anyway for you know making up fast food type dish... I mean like for real who tips at McDonald's? Or Subway? You might throw some dollars into a glass jar, but you sure as hell don't give 20% on a pickup. I tried to change the $3, using the other function and it wouldn't complete the charge. So I went and selected no tip. And completed the charge but instead of no tip I had a 20% tip applied to my bill. And for what.... A messed up order. We ordered two regular gyros with fries No problems there. A falafel bowl, No problems there and it received high marks for the moistness of the falafel, even got the request for no onions right. The Baklava was tasty. 5 stars for food.... Other than my messed up order. I ordered a Signature Gyro to get extra meat so that I could take some meat off and have on a salad the next day. Usually there is an abundance of meat. I chose combo gyro beef & chicken (thinking regular chicken, not shredded spicy chicken. I'd say lesson learned there but they could have messed up the kind of chicken too). What I got was a pita with fries inside, two strips of gyro meat and a couple of clumps of shredded chicken. A small amount of taziki sauce....NO LETTUCE, TOMATOES, OR FETA. Not as described on their menu and not as pictured. I made do by getting Romain leaves, feta, and another sauce I had handy and pulled off the meat from mound of fries in my pita, and made a lettuce wrap. No extra for lunch today. I would have given them 1 star for the annoyance factor of royally messing up my order and over charging me with the 20% surcharge....and I didn't call them because what was that minimum wage highschool kid making gyros gonna do? Some dude was as bummed as I that he didn't get his meat and fry, hold the rest, wrap. So you get this long warning of how to order & what to expect. I ventured into the app land experience because they dangled a $10 off the order if I used the app. Not worth it. They have a nice deck It would be where I would eat because inside is just basic for my tables and fast food vibe. Otherwise you're picking up and that's why this is so important. I'll just share the latest experience...

The restaurant itself is gorgeous, warm, inviting and calming. We were sat out on the covered patio section, with the lovely wisteria above us and a water feature behind our table. We chose to have the Spring Tasting menu, which includes a mezze platter to start with bread, your choice of entree and a dessert platter. I chose the Kafta and my husband chose the chicken shawarma. The entrees come with a generous side of Lebanese rice. We also ordered the City of Salt cocktail and a mocktail. Starting with the drinks, they were tart, tasty and refreshing. Everything was great, but the mezze platter was the highlight. The babaganoush was the best I've ever had. It had a deep, smoky flavor and was garnished with pomegranate seeds which provided such a great burst of sweet to balance out the savory. The stuffed grape leaves and falafel were also standouts. We also ordered the pickle plate because it was calling to us and what a great idea that was! The flavors here are very intense and might not be for everyone. But if you really like pickles you should give them a try. The pickled beets were our favorite. Our entrees continued the same theme of being positively packed with great flavors. The harissa and toum complimented the meats very well. And the grilled vegetables and rice rounded everything out perfectly. The baklava on the dessert platter was also the standout. This is not the baklava you'd buy at the grocery store and was the perfect end to our meal. It's not overly sweet and is balanced with a slight savory flavor, and the texture was fantastic. There was a depth of flavor in everything that shows care and consideration while crafting the menu at Zakia. You can also see this care in the decor and ambience. I will absolutely come back again in the future and would happily recommend Zakia. I would lastly like to thank our waitress Helen in particular for making our experience so lovely. For my entree, I got the kafta kebab which comes with a grilled vegetable skewer and Lebanese rice as well as a red hot sauce and a garlic toum like sauce. It was all so delicious and entrees come with free, fresh baked pita which is so light. The portion was very filling. I enjoyed myself, and would come back.

Absolutely Incredible - Best Meal I've Had While Traveling!…read more I travel all over the country for work, and I can honestly say Delbar delivered one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. From the moment I sat down, my bartender Taz took exceptional care of me. I wasn't familiar with the menu, so I trusted her recommendations, and she absolutely knocked it out of the park. Every single dish she chose was outstanding. I started with the fresh pita and hummus topped with the mushroom, shishito pepper, and egg addition. The pita was warm, fresh, and unlike anything I've had before. The hummus was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The chicken wings were phenomenal, perfectly grilled with incredible flavor and just the right amount of char. The highlight of the night was the lamb neck with the Polo Sefid. The lamb was unbelievably tender and flavorful, and paired with the saffron rice, it was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever eaten. What truly elevated the experience was Taz's service. She was knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the food. Her recommendations made the entire meal unforgettable. If I hadn't trusted her guidance, I would've missed out on an amazing culinary experience. Beyond the incredible food, Delbar has an atmosphere that is truly special. The entire restaurant feels warm, welcoming, and almost familial as if you're being welcomed into someone's home rather than simply dining out. The lighting is absolutely gorgeous, creating the perfect ambiance without feeling overly formal. The decor is tasteful and elegant, the bar area is stunning, and the dining room strikes a perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. Even the approach to the restaurant and the outdoor space are beautifully designed. Every detail feels intentional and contributes to an experience that is as memorable as the food itself. Delbar has officially become a must-visit anytime I'm in Atlanta. I'll absolutely be returning, and next time I'll be bringing family all the way from Reno, Nevada so they can experience it too. Thank you Taz! Thank you, Delbar, for an unforgettable evening!

There was indoor and outdoor seating and we chose to sit outside as it was a beautiful night. We had amazing service, great food, in a really cute neighborhood. We were especially impressed with the staff, and we had a member come out more than once to check with one of the people dining with us who had food allergies to ensure that how they were offering the food would be safe for her. It was also impressive that this restaurant was so busy on a Monday night. There were three of us dining, and we didn't even order any of the meats, and there was plenty of food for us. From the Mazzes, we had the Omani Shrimp, which had a great dipping sauce and the Beet Carpaccio. (they were very accommodating and put the whipped feta on the side). For the Spreads, we did the hummus with mushroom, shisito and egg, which was amazing and the labneh with pickled fennel on the top. It's served with taftoun bread which I would describe as a mix of a cracker and pita with sesame on top. We also enjoyed a raw vegetable dish with radish and the most delicious apple slices. Their heirloom tomato salad was beautifully presented and plentiful. They had a flight of condiments and we were able to sample zhoug, spicy tahina and torshi, which was a mixture of pickled vegetables. We ended with a pistachio lava cake with the most delicious cardamon gelato. Overall, we had an amazing meal in their beautiful outdoor space, and we thought the food was really reasonably priced. There's something for everyone on this menu whether you're vegetarian, vegan or a meat eater.

Salmon with Alfredo Pasta + Creamy Chicken Soup: Was impressed that the salmon was cooked to order. I did have to wait maybe 7-10 mins for it, but while I waited Mr. Kameel gave me and another customer waiting some free lentil soup which was pretty good. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I also liked the alfredo pasta, super creamy and went well with the salmon. The first few bites of the creamy chicken soup were good, but then I found it to be extremely salty and I couldn't finish it. Overall, definitely impressed with how well the salmon was cooked, although it was a bit pricey ($24). Rosemary Chicken with rice + lentils: Chicken seems to be the most popular protein and I can see why! The portion was huge and the chicken was very moist and flavorful. On their own, the rice and lentils were okay and not extraordinary. Both plates came with a piece of falafel, and while I'm not a huge fan of falafel it deserves a mention because it was really good! (I was too full to finish but David happily finished it for me). I did really appreciate being greeted by Mr. Kameel himself as soon as we walked in.
