Never ever visit this place, i called to try and see if they sold a specific product then told me no, and hung up on me, i had another question so i called back, when i called back I was told I was connected to the rewards department when I asked him for the number for the store. The number they gave me was a number that was not in service so when I decided to call back to the store multiple times they are avoiding my calls all I'm trying to do is find out if they have a specific product so that I can go in tomorrow during work, but they will not accept my calls as if I'm doing something wrong to them by asking them a question so never visit this store. This is clearly a suspicious store that doesn't want anything to be figured out because they will not pick up my calls anymore. Either the person working at the store right now keeps closing my phone calls or he has blocked my number and all I'm trying to do is give them business, never visit this store if you value your sanity. Avoid the Smoke Scene off 7th Ave. I went in yesterday and purchased one of their more expensive vapes (Orion Lost Vape) and the unknowledgeable staff sold me the wrong size pods. They were much more snug than they should be. I've owned three of this same vape, and haven't had any problems yet. I went to their location off 9th Ave and explained my issue and showed him a demonstration with my old pods from my recent vape and he said go back by the store and they should honor and return it without issues. At the 7th Ave store, I showed the guys who sold me the wrong product and they definitely remembered selling it to me, I even showed the two different pods and how one fits perfectly and the other you have to shove into the vape. the staff who sold me the products yesterday said he couldn't return it because it was open. I asked, "how would I know if it's the wrong pod, if I didn't open it? Should I have guessed?" He explained that he couldn't return it back to the company so I can't return it back to him. He said that he has never tried that vape (nor even held or used one, but took the new vape and shoved the pod in and said "see, it fits." So I busted out my old pod again and said "no, this fits." So I want my money back. He refused, so here we are. I'm gonna go back to 9th Ave Smoke Scene tomorrow and see if they will resolve the problem. There are a million smoke shops in NYC and I would definitely suggest if you need to go to this company, go to the store off 9th. I came here to buy cigars for a Christmas present. Smoke scene had a wide variety of cigars, lighters, and, cigar case holders. It is slightly overwhelming. I did some research before going to this place, so I had an idea of what I wanted. The workers there are nice, but they aren't necessarily there to help you. They were constantly trying to sell me a more expensive cigar or a pricier item. I went in there to buy Ashton cigars and some lighter fluid and they kept persuading me to buy a different type that was ridiculously oversized for a casual cigar smoker and wayy too dark. I stood my ground and bought the kind that I originally went in to buy and don't let them fool you with the lighter fluid. They also claim to have a "special lighter fluid", but just buy the regular $2 one. I didn't want to fall into the trap because the one they tried to sell me was about $14. Good merchandise here, but the peeps who work here are a bit annoying. read more

I stopped in here to get wraps but when they told me they were $3 each, I started to leave till I inquired about a vape pen. I decided to take the $30 one just to try it out. Couldn't get it to work, no matter what I or a friend tried to do. I returned and they said no returns. I was angry. They told me to contact the manufacturer. I started to leave and then told them I would post review on Yelp. He asked me to see the pen. He cleaned it out and used tobacco (and his own tip). It worked. not sure why this place doesnt have better reviews! i stopped at 2 local smoke shops in my neighborhood on a saturday night at around midnight and both were already closed! although not as close to my home in UWS, this place is open 24 hours!, and has a very nice selection of hookahs, tobacco, pipes, grinders, glass, papers, coals, butane, cigs and most other items that you would go to a smoke shop for. also, the price for the hookah i purchased is below the standard amazon price. and the salespeople are very helpful as well, and know about each item they are selling, just have to ask. i was pleasantly surprised by this shop, and although yes its small, they will have what you need. read more
