Stopped in while driving around Columbia Valley. Checked Yelp and saw they had good reviews. Located right off highway 93. Private parking area (gravel). Large eating area outside with picnic tables. Walked in a was greeted by a friendly gal. She was very helpful as it was our first visit. She even went over the sauces with us and gave recommendations. Decent sized indoor seating area. About 6 tables ranging from 4-6 chairs each. Two gender neutral restrooms available off the indoor dining area. We ordered the Mac Daddy sandwich and a single plate with smoked turkey and mac & cheese. The single came with a vinaigrette coleslaw as well, but I'm not a vinegar fan so I gave it to my husband. He didn't seem to care for it either. Said it would taste better on a pulled pork sandwich. Other than the coleslaw all other food was absolutely delicious! Only wish they offered some sort of dessert as well, but didn't see anything listed on their menu. Prices were reasonable. We had two meals and a 16 oz beer for $40 with tip. Not bad at all for BBQ! Always looking to eat some BBQ. Smoker was in full effect on our arrival. They burn hickory & cherry here. Easily one of the best 2-3 meals we had while on our recent two week BC/Alberta road trip. The proteins offered differ a bit from many spots as they have both chicken and turkey. The meats are available on a bun, by the pound, or on a platter. They will even sell you a single pork rib. Our visit was complicated just slightly as they were out of both poultry meats-like most good BBQ spots, once it's gone it's gone. The counter staff was very helpful and understanding as we worked to put together a sampler platter without the missing meats. The assortment finally came to brisket, pulled pork, and pork ribs with a little extra to fill the gaps. We passed on the chorizo as we are not good with spicy food. Also came with slaw and our choice of side, potato salad. I will say right off the bat that the homemade potato salad was really delicious. Highly recommended. Also offer chili, mac & cheese, beans and a kale caesar salad. Slaw was typical vinegar dressed. The pork ribs we received had a good, smoky flavor profile but were less moist than we like-a bit on the dry side. Pulled pork was very well rendered, being much less greasy than most. But without a little sauce we felt it was not really very flavorful. They offer four sauces here, three spicy and one sweet. The brisket was the stand out. Clearly visible smoke ring, moist, great flavor. Went really nicely with the sweet sauce. Only small issue was that it was sliced quite thick-thinner is better. This platter would be more than enough to feed two, especially if you added a larger size side, as we had leftovers. We left today very happy with our choice. Wish I had remembered to take some photos. If your hungry anywhere near Invermere, we highly recommend Smokehouse 93. read more

Disappointing in every way! Arrived at 5:30pm on a Sat, there were only two meat selections left to choose from. No potato salad. The Mac n cheese that the cashier recommended was dreadful! It was cold, bland overcooked pasta without even a hint of cheesy flavor at all. It was pasty goo in a bowl. All 6 of us took a taste and agreed it sucked "big" time, just awful!The beans in the baked beans were undercooked and contained red peppers which threw the taste completely off. The cornbread was dry. The coleslaw had so much vinegar, it was only edible when paired with the meat. The only redeeming thing about our experience was the brisket. We traveled to the Fairmont Hot Springs area during off season and thank God this place was good because it was the only place open. We were referred here by the locals. The first time we drove from Fairmont Hot Springs to Invermere, it was just closing for a few days. The second time we ventured out, it was closed. We hit the jackpot on the third time. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM. The menu is short and simple. For CAN $10, we had the Thursday night pulled pork barbeque sandwich special that included a soft drink. It was very tasty. I especially liked the barbeque sauce. I could have eaten one more sandwich, but controlled my appetite We ate in the dining area. It was clean and very country. ..Country music was piped in. Murals on the walls were interesting. Check out my photos. We were a little confused by where to park. I think we parked in the wrong place, but there weren't any other people because the Poutine trailer was closed. The washroom was unique. See my picture of the sink. There was even a high chair that must have been from the 60's. Service was fast and courteous. The prices were reasonable and the food was good. Fantastic find! We were driving through to Radium Hot Springs and found this gem on our way. Decided to have supper there tonight and wow! What a fantastic place! Amazing food! The sauces were to die for, we ended up buying a bottle of the hot and sweet Crossroads. Decided to go with the sampler and added a side of curly fries. It was more than generous! I'd give 5 stars for customer service-everyone we had contact with was amazing. We were hosting a casual dinner for 10 people and ordered ribs and cornbread (the cornbread was incredible). Spent $450 but the ribs were incredibly dry and there wasn't much meat on them. We're up here all summer and were hoping to have this place as a go-to for entertaining. read more

The brisket was so delicious. The smoke ring was perfect and it had so much flavor. I also had the cornbread with jalepeno and cheddar. I shared it with my family and we all loved it. The mac and cheese was so yummy. We all really loved the food. It was fun to have so many sauce choices but they were all pretty sweet. Something more tangy and less sweet would've been more my style but that's just preference. The seating options were nice. The bathrooms and the indoor seating were very clean. If you are looking for good tasting BBQ, this is not the place. If this is the only restaurant in town, sounds like you are willing to roll the dice. My family and I visited this restaurant this past weekend, July 20, 2024, around 4pm. Right away we felt very unwelcome by the staff, specifically the male cashier. All of our questions about the food were answered with a lot of impatience, rudeness and disgust. We kept having to constantly repeat ourselves as the staff constantly walked away. Our bill was quite high for a dinner for two adults and two kids. We really just wanted to finish our meal and leave. Definitely will not be returning. read more

The food is fantastic! And even during Covid it's super safe to dine in. I bought sauces for my daughter for Christmas and she just loved them! A great find. Our group of 4 pretty much tried all of the meats and the Mac & Cheese plus coleslaw. Mouthwatering. All of it. Special props for the burnt ends. We enjoyed it so much we returned a couple of days later for breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches were outstanding! Only regret is I only visit the area once a year for a golf week. I hated the beer I picked (honey ale) and the cook felt bad they couldn't refund the beer $ and brought us out a small container of burnt ends which were to die for. Worth going back for. Really disappointing in terms of the value proposition. The barbecued beef is as expected - nothing spectacular but meets the requirement for barbeque beef. (Think thicker/less quantity than Arby's). However Smokehouse 93 is extremely expensive for what you get: $30 for bbq beef on a bun, which didn't seem too expensive as the reader board said it came with coleslaw and baked beans. Not true: this is a beef sandwich. The coleslaw and cut baked beans are used as condiments and are spread very lightly on the barbecued beef. I won't be returning and suggest you save your money goes somewhere else. There's lots of good places to go in the valley so we won't be going back but the ice cream place next-door is fantastic. read more

The sides were amazing but the meat it's self was just ok. Very pricey for what you get. And I know this is out of their control but they didn't have burnt ends which was a big disappointment. We just enjoyed a delicious meal from Smokehouse 93 after hiking Mt Swansea. What a wonderful treat. We ordered samplers with extra cornbread. Lots of amazing meat, coleslaw was crisp and full of flavour. I had the Mac and Cheese side while my husband had the beans. Both were tasty. Cornbread was moist and delicious.
