She checked on us often and was very personable . I recommend requesting her. The satay skewers were kind of bland. The fries in the poutine were cold. Overall. the indoor dining was super busy, and pretty loud with everyone talking in a small space. There were lots of TVs on with no sound. Then, they turned the hockey game sound on. One of the worst places to dine in, this place is full of racist crew especially the racist server / Manager Victoria. She was rude & cold - didn't even bother to clean the table properly. When requested that the table be cleaned aptly, she rolled her eyes and walked away. We eventually chose to dine at the Ullr bar and loved the service there. We arrived at 12:30 on a Friday at the start of the car show. The place was hopping! However, the staff was welcoming and friendly, they worked together to make sure everyone was taken care of. The waitress Steph was friendly but professional. She had a busy section but made sure everyone was noticed. I have a restaurant background, and we mostly cook from home. We were on a little getaway and decided to stop in. The food was excellent the prices were fair and the service stellar! From the drinks to the delicious mustard/ Italian house salad and dressing. As requested, we were seated at an outside table with a wonderful view of the lake. The server promptly to our drink and food order. we split the fish and chips and both the fries and fish were cooked perfectly. The coleslaw was very good too. Right in the middle of sweet and tangy. Pretty standard pub food. Nothing to write home about. Best part was the three huge ants in the bottom of my Coke. The server explained that they are attracted to the sugar in pop machine. They clean it every day but.... The pesky ants keep coming back. Maybe they should consider a chocolate covered option on the appetizer menu? We went last night to The Station Pub and I was surprised, not in the positive way either. The floors were absolutely horrid, I kept stepping on food every step. Also when we got there, the waitress started with "let's tell you what we don't have tonight." I ordered the Gyoza and Souvlaki wrap. I was very disappointed. The Gyoza was obviously bought. And the chicken didn't taste right. My friend had the chicken burger and he said it was alright. I did enjoy the garden salad and the apple cider I had. Those were delicious but it sucks that it was so overpriced for the service and food that we bought. read more

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Cool gastropub with a nice view of the lake from the patio. This place was recommended to us by some people we were ziplining with earlier in the day. They'd mentioned a second floor patio and it was indeed a great place to hang out on a nice warm day. You can watch the trains go by on the tracks directly below the restaurant and also the serene lake in the distance. They had a nice variety of food and beers to choose from, and our server was very friendly and efficient. Since we weren't terribly hungry we just got an order of nachos to share, and beer, or course. The nachos were really big and filled us up quite well! If you find yourself looking for some casual eats in the area, this place is worth a look. read more

Upon recommendation (and raving reviews) from our friend, our group decided to grab dinner here while we were in town. We arrived just before dusk, and the view overlooking the lake was gorgeous. No doubt the patio is packed when it's nice and warm out! It was surprisingly busy, but we didn't have to wait long to seat our party of 8. Our server was super friendly, and had our drinks out pretty quickly while we decided our meals. They have the typical pub fare such as burgers, chicken fingers and the like. The only reason it's getting a 2 is for the view. But I might as well have packed a lunch and went to the beach. Yesterday my husband and I ordered two ceasers, the Calamari, nachos and fish tacos. The table who was seated beside us AFTER we got there got their drinks before we did. Not only that, but we got our drinks after our food came out ‍. The calamari was soggy and barely tasted cooked, the fish tacos were very sub par, nice presentation but that's it and the nachos were just covered in a ton of cheese! Like I love cheese but there were no crunchy tacos. Just soggy ones. We were really hoping for a better experience but now we know not to come back! read more

Great spot overlooking the lake. My friend and I tried to go for lunch at the Cafe Allia down the street (which was listed as open online and so also said the sign outside but it most definitely was not and is in fact closed until March). Ended up going here for lunch instead and it was great. Very clean and family friendly. Lots of families with kids out for lunch and the place was packed, so definitely a local favourite. Varied menu and everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked great. The bison burger was a little on the tough side but flavour was good. House salad was excellent - lots of fun bits in it you don't expect from a standard side salad and the dressing was super tasty. Fish and chips were both very crispy and spot on. The service was mediocre at best! At first we waited 20 minutes to even have our order for drinks taken and I was delivered the wrong type of booze in my Caesar, even after being upsold on the dill pickle vodka. I received a gin Caesar. The server was prompt at ensuring the issue was fixed, but I know this can cost a company a lot of money if errors continue. Upselling on liquor has the ability from the server, but upselling on the food was not the strongest. We ordered the tater tot nachos, and to our surprise, it didn't come with a dip. When the food arrived, I asked for ranch, it took 10 minute and our food was finished before I was able to get up and inform the server, we no longer required it anymore. As we all know, short handed staff have been an issue in the food industry since COVID, but I think teaching the staff about communication with tables and product knowledge, should maybe be considered to become a successful establishment. As for the location, it is beautiful with views of the lake. read more

Wife and I stopped for some dinner and a few beers. Beer selection is great! Wife's meal was described as fantastic. She got the slovaki. I took the bar food route with wings and poutine. Wings were good poutine could have been better. Fries were not done all the way which kind of ruined the meal. Was going to ask for extra gravy but our server never really came back..well.. not until we were pretty much done. Wife waited for another drink for quite some time. We planned on hanging out and drinking for a bit but decided to go somewhere else due to the service being bad. Wish we had the Australian lady who served the table next to us. We really enjoyed both the specialty drinks and the food, but it was quite slow on the Friday night we came in. We had nachos to start with a few drinks. The Dark and Stormy using Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum was very good, the beer on tap had a some unique choices. Our son really enjoyed the poutine with his burger, the steak nachos were a hit with the younger boys. The Greek salad was very good, a generous portion. We visited here more than once in our trip to Panorama. The Station was recommended to us as a place we could watch the Premier League soccer match while on vacation. We were so impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the attentive bartenders, and the knowledge of food allergies they had... we went back multiple times!!! If only I can give no star at all but I have to so it would allow me to add a review. We were here yesterday to have lunch. They greeted us, checked our vaccine cards, and asked us just to sit anywhere we liked. They gave us the menu and after that no one came to take our orders or even just to give a glass of water. Other customers where taken cared of buy taking there orders, giving them drinks and stuff. After 15 minutes the lady who sat us down was apologizing saying that she was fixing the debit machine because it was not working. We just said it was okay but she even did not offered to give us a glass of water while everyone in the restaurant was being served their drinks. After 5 mons she came back again saying that the debit machine isn't working and that they will be only accepting cash. We don't carry cash and ask them if they have an atm machine as it is a pub because we don't want to go anywhere else just to have lunch as we were so hungry. The lady said they don't have that. While this is happening we noticed that it is only us who they were informing about that machine and that the people who came after us was giving there orders. And that they weren't giving this information to the other customers who was there. We did not have any choice but to go. It's very frustrating and we don't want to think that we've been racially profiled as we're the only asian in the resto but it felt like that. read more

4 stars in generous, but I am awarding that simply for the beer selection and the views. While I didn't sit on the patio (as I had just golfed 2 rounds and wanted to drink heaps of local beers I figured the wood was a better spot) it was gorgeous and would be a place I could see myself going back to another time I am in town for sure. They had tons of servers working, almost seemed like one per table but yet even sitting at the wood I constantly had an empty glass, while I sympathize as I did have 10 pints, which was kind of disappointing as they didn't actually have a bartender. Each server would go back there and make the drinks for their own tables which seemed like a ridiculous idea to me. So about every 30 seconds a server would walk by and see my empty glass but until my own server was back there I wouldn't get a refill....odd system I have never witnessed before and clearly slows things down for all patrons, not just us wood/tv watching/beer drinking fools. So anyways, despite that which was kind of frustrating it is afterall Invermere and there is basically no competition so I stayed there to drink all night. Plus they did have Arrowhead beer on tap with 6 different styles and we cannot get them in Edmonton very often so I gladly stimulated the local economy one pint at a time. Food wise I ordered the pork bites which were pretty pretty pretty solid I must say and then I wanted to order the house special flatbread which they were out of....odd again...but I had a back up plan in my head (you know since I have common sense) and went with the Santa Fe Chicken Burger which was excellent! Well done to the chef I must say so myself. So food and simply selection of beer gets you 4 stars....service needs to be augmented as the same amount of workers or even a couple less could easily keep up and infact do a better job with some simple organization.....good luck with that though and see you next time I am out that way. read more

If I could give no stars I would. First time here, the nachos are a joke for the price, the large size is so small and u have pay extra for a smidge of chicken. The beef dip is dry and leathery, so much so I didn't eat the other half. We send most of our food back. The chicken sandwich is a slice of over breaded over cooked thin chicken. They were out of bread, so I agreed to a hamburger bun which the waitress suggested. They have cards on every table asking "How are we doing?" with a phone number to text your comments. I did, and suggested better planning. If it's nice out - try to get a spot in their huge patio overlooking Kinsmen beach or the pond. Great pub fair and selection of local beers. They are kid friendly until 9 (I think). We shared a selection of appetizers and the kids mac and cheese was a huge hit! Make sure to try the ginger beer cocktail ... so good. Nice spot to grab a bite and enjoy the view of Windermere Lake. The fish and chips were excellent. The batter on the fish is perfect, not too thick, and nice and crispy. The portion size was good. The waitress was new so she was a little uncertain about some of the menu and bar items, but the service was good otherwise. I called and made a reservation for dinner for two. It was our wedding anniversary and I wanted a decent table and we weren't sure how busy it would be. Our server seated us in the corner away from the beautiful view they had. Being that the tables look full we didn't say anything. The server couldn't be bothered to offer us a drink menu or read off their craft beer selection, she pointed us to the black board to read, she was short and annoyed from the start. We ordered food but they had run out of many items so we quickly changed our order. We saw a table open up close to the window and asked to be moved. The server said we could move but didn't assist us. Actually she never came back to our table. After sitting for 20 min with an empty drink another server offered us another drink. Our new table had a drink menu so we where able to revise our drinks. It was an hour before our very basic pub food arrived, I promptly asked for hot sauce from our server and had to flag down yet another server to bring it 10 min later. Our second server was polite but not really friendly, it was an improvement from the first girl that treated me like I bothered her. The food was ok but not great. A very disappointing anniversary dinner. We opted to go the Cooper Salon, which was quite but had great quick and friendly service. read more
