Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum! (This should be my whole review. lol)…read more Nothing fancy about this place. Just a small mom and pop dive that serves hot dogs, but the food is great. I ordered a charred jumbo Belushi (1/4lb beef Vienna hotdog, beef chili, shredded cheddar cheese - I held the onions) and a side of cheese fries. This is probably the best hot dog in town, and the chili on the fries was amazing. The chili by itself would be a good meal, but that's not an option on the menu. They might have the best fries in town as well; they're hand-cut. I enjoyed the cheese sauce on the fries too. For the future though, I will order a regular Belushi instead of a jumbo. It tastes amazing, but the jumbo just has a regular sized bun so the bun isn't big enough to hold the hot dog and all of the toppings. I was messy eating the jumbo Belushi because the bun couldn't hold everything. Having said that, the jumbo Belushi was darn good!! The staff was great too. They're kind, they brought the food out quickly, and they keep the restaurant clean. The person behind the counter recommended the Jordan (Vienna beef hotdog, beef bacon, grilled onions, sport peppers, mayo, mustard) and onion rings. It's hard to imagine a restaurant having something better on the menu than what I ate though.

Beef bacon, grilled onions, sport peppers, mayo, and mustard. So much flavor and perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly, helpful, and polite. It's a no-frills spot, but that's part of the charm. You can get the dogs boiled or grilled. Definitely go with boiled. A GREAT meal, zero fuss. I'll absolutely be back.

They have a relatively small dining area and serves...you guessed it...hotdogs. They have an assortment of signature dogs to choose from or you can design your own. The staff there was uber friendly. First class all the way. The restaurant was very clean and neat during my visit. I ordered the Judge and a Court Street dog. My food was ready very fast. I would say about five minutes or so. The hot dog was really good, but the dog itself was smaller than most other gourmet hotdog places that I have been. The dog was loaded with toppings too. If I had to pick a favorite between the two dogs, I would go with the Judge. They were both flavorful and tasty, but the Judge just edged out the Court Street. Anyway, this is a decent lunch option if you ever find yourself in Franklin. I recommend checking this place out.

The dining room is clean and adorable, if you love hot dogs. There are tables to eat inside and out. All the menu items sounded amazing. It was hard to choose just one. I had the Loaded dog, which was covered with a coneys sauce, cheese and a ton of crispy bacon. The dog was delicious and filling. They also serve sandwiches and have low carb options. Prices are really reasonable. The staff is friendly and food comes out quickly. There is free parking around the square, but it fills after noon. I highly recommend a visit if you are a hot dog connoisseur. I'll be back.

Kitschy, yes, but despite that the food is genuinely spectacular…read more Bratwurst was super flavorful and cooked perfectly with a caramelized outside, a good snap, and a moist inside. The pretzel bun was heated appropriately and had the right amount of flavor. The optional spicy mustard is really powerful. My only possible complaint would be that the spatzle were a bit on the soggy side, perhaps overcooked. That said, the spatzle also come with an incredible sauerbraten gravy. My only regret, really, is not having had dessert.

Atmosphere is fun, it really embraces the German decor (saw a review or too calling it kitschy, in a good way, which I think is a fair description). Service is friendly and attentive (and in the costumed German garb to keep with the themes). Lots of classic German dishes (several schnitzel varieties, brats, spatzel, etc.). I won't say anything I've had over the years blows me away, but haven't had a bad choice either. The Wiener schnitzel I had most recently was tender and tasty, with a perfectly fried batter, and the German fries were nicely crisped on the exterior and beautifully seasoned. Good beer selection (including some brewed for the restaurant), reasonable wine list...love that you can go all out and have your beer in the classic giant boot! Small gift shop as well, some souvenir items as well as some candies and food options.

They offer burgers, mac & cheese, sausages, nachos, sandwiches, and of course some exotic hot dog. This is one of the most colorful trucks and you cannot miss it. Even though my interaction with them was very limited, the staff was nice enough. I ordered a jumbo Carolina Slaw Dog with a side of BBQ baked beans. The sides are already prepared and pre-packed, so my wait was not long. It took them less than 5 minutes to have my food ready. The beans were cold, but they did offer to heat them for me. I was heading straight home so I opted to just heat them up when I got there. My dog's bread was soggy, as expected. I am just throwing that out there for those people that soggy bread matters to. It was a delicious dog though and I really liked it. The beans were also pretty good and I enjoyed them as well. I highly recommend fining out where this truck is going to be and checking them out. They have a wide range of delicious food and some really unique dogs.
