I watched Rob Smolich on TV for years talking about "hard working people " and how he would work hard to get them the disability benefits they deserve. I phoned his office years ago and spoke with one of his representatives. She took down my information and said she would get back to me. She did get back to me and told me I didn't have a claim and they couldn't represent me. Unfortunately I was disappointed. I called another attorney Alberts Betsy H Attorney At Law and she was happy to take my case. After about eight months of working with her I was awarded the maximum amount of social security benefits. I received a check for eight months and I still receive the maximum amount of benefits each and every month. I'm not bad mouthing Smolich & Smolich - I want everyone to know if you are a hard working person and get injured you are a candidate for security benefits. I called Smolich after hearing horror stories about another large law firm. I thought Smolich was different. I thought someone would actually talk TO me. Didn't happen. The first time I called and got a person I was quickly shuttled off and told I could handle that piece on my own. It left a sour taste in my mouth but I wrote it off. I called back after doing the prescribed steps. I had to call back five times.
