Usually moving ends in bruises and at least one or two incidents of swearing vehemently at your spouse because you got stuck on the heavy end. Exhausted and dirty you collapse and swearing off ever moving again. Then you remember you have to clean and return the rental truck before you can actually rest. Well I can attest that I would move another dozen times if I can hire Helpful Movers to do the work for me. They were polite, punctual, and professional. They quickly got to work and carefully packed all our belongings into the truck. Nothing was broken or damaged. (I'm use to losing at least something along the way.) Worth every penny!!! Really after you think about that rental, the swearing, the multiple trips (because you didn't get a big enough truck), and the random friends/relatives that resent you a bit more afterwards, it's a lot cheaper to hire these guys in the long run.

I initially gave a great review the day of, but clearly this was a rush job not done well and very careless. Wish we had moved ourselves. Our experience was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. We had a confirmed contract and scheduled move time of 9:00 AM. When that time came and went, no one showed up and we were unable to reach anyone for several hours. Calls went unanswered, messages were ignored, and there was zero communication from the company. After hours of trying to get ahold of someone, we finally received a text message stating they were "trying to find somebody." That alone should have been a major red flag -- a moving company should not be scrambling to find movers at the last minute for a confirmed job. Over six hours late, two gentlemen finally arrived in a rented U-Haul truck. They informed us they were contracted, not actual employees. More concerning, they would not admit if they were licensed, insured, or bonded -- just two individuals who came to move all my items. They wouldn't confirm if they had a company. Even worse, the owner, Alex Coombs, refused to answer calls, blatantly ignored messages, and provided no explanation, no apology, and no communication whatsoever throughout the entire situation. As of today Haula Movers has a C- rating with the BBB due to unanswered complaints. Haula Movers also has several other reviews remarking that they too suffered no shows and an owner that "ghosts" any negative feedback. They were polite, efficient, and clearly knew how to load a truck properly. They packed our moving truck in an organized way and handled large, awkward items with care. They reboxed our 75 inch television back into its original box, which took effort, and they also wrapped and packed a heavy TV stand with a built in fireplace. From a physical labor standpoint, the movers themselves did a good job. Unfortunately, the experience outside of the crew is where things went downhill. The movers arrived about 15 minutes late and the job ran close to an hour longer than estimated. I was charged for three hours, which I accepted. I had already put down a $100 deposit. After labor charges and tipping the crew, the total came out to approximately $942 for about three hours of labor. This was shocking considering the original quote I received was just over $200. I understand that moving costs can change, but this level of increase was poorly communicated and unexpected. The biggest issue happened after the move. When we arrived in Florida and began unpacking, we realized that both the TV remote and the fireplace remote were missing. We searched every box multiple times. The movers were the last people to handle those items. I contacted the owner on Sunday to explain what happened. He told me he would check with the movers on Monday and follow up. That never happened. I reached out again midweek and received no response at all. At that point, it became clear that once payment was completed, the owner was no longer interested in communication or resolving problems. This was not an isolated issue. Communication with the owner before the move was already inconsistent, and this situation confirmed that follow through and customer service are not priorities. Another important thing for anyone considering Green Day Movers is insurance. They do not carry full coverage. The protection offered is based on weight and pays only a few cents per pound. If you are moving valuable or sentimental items, you are taking on nearly all the risk yourself. For comparison, the movers we hired in Florida unloaded the entire truck in under two hours, were extremely professional, and carried $10,000 in insurance. While the moving crew worked hard and did their job well, the owner's lack of communication, the massive pricing jump, and the unresolved missing items mean I would not recommend this company. Utah has plenty of moving companies to choose from. Do your research carefully, ask direct questions about pricing and insurance, and make sure you hire a company that will actually respond when something goes wrong.

The TV was professionally "Carrier Packed" (CP) by Bailey's team into a specialized TV carton. Upon delivery from SIT on Feb 7, 2026, the TV was found to be non-functional. Despite reporting this within 3 days and having paid for the highest level of insurance, Bailey's has rejected the claim. The Facts: - Paid for Protection: I am not asking for $0.60/lb; I paid a $533 premium for Full Value replacement. - Professional Packing: Bailey's packed the item themselves in their own specialized carton. A replacement 77-inch LG OLED currently costs between $2,000-$3,200. Bailey's has taken my insurance premium but refuses to provide the coverage I paid for. Prospective customers: Be warned that "Maximum Value Protection" with this company may be a meaningless expense.
