We stopped by this Smoothie King store location while we were on this side of town. It's conveniently located on Forest drive and right outside the Fort Jackson Army base main gate. They are located in a small shopping plaza which did have limited customer parking. We decided to visit them to get a smoothie just to hold us over. Upon entering I noticed it's a very small space, and there was customers waiting. Apparently they get alot of online orders, because it took like 7 minutes before one of the three employees asked for my order. I also noticed that they stay so busy that unlike many other locations, none of the staff were greeting their customers when they entered. I've been to this location 5-6 times. I get the same order every time-- a small pineapple surf. My total is always the same. Today my order was slightly cheaper. I always ask for my receipt and i saw there was a 10% service discount. I always visit the location when I leave work so I'm always in full military uniform. I've even asked if there was a military discount and I was told no. But today... there was. Not a huge deal just disappointing that accurate information is not being issued. read more

Okay, so this SK is no where near as big as your normal one. But my goodness where they lack size, they make up for it in customer service. These guys are easily the most customer service focused SK that I've ever visited. The team welcomes you in, makes recommendations, and are patient. The menu is super large so there is a lot to process. But the team is patient and walks you through everything. They also have add-ons for your shakes that make them even better for you. I added a probiotic to help with my digestive track. Now I'm a healthy guy but I was super impressed with the knowledge of the add-on boosters that the staff possessed. They also provide a line of proteins and other supplements in the form of cookies, jerky, and other cool snacks. Every time I visit here, which has only been a handful of times, the staff is extremely unwelcoming and rude. They barely greet their customers and never smile. They seem upset or have something to be angry at. Also, Smoothie King is WAY too overpriced. $8.20 for a medium smoothie with no add-ins? Seriously? My chocolate shake doesn't seem blended enough as if I can feel the cocoa. Smoothie is good. Prices and staff are eh. I did have one good staff member once, I cannot remember his name! read more

I will never step foot in this place again. I came in on my lunch break and first time here as well. When I came in, there were two girls behind the counter talking. I walked in and no one spoke I had to speak first and I'm not even sure that I even got a response back. Also the young girl with the long brown hair you are rude, customer service must've not been in the handbook. This was my first visit so I stepped to the side as I slowly read over the menu. The 2 young men behind the counter gave me lots of suggestions and asked me what I liked. They helped me find the perfect choice which was a Yogurt DLite with strawberries. I was eagerly awaiting for this place to open and was not disappointed! The staff is very friendly and prompt with your order. They do offer a wide selection of smoothies. I've tried the Peach Slice...which was pretty good. Currently, my favorite is the Almond Mocha without the sugar. YUM! Looking forward to trying out the others. Do yourself a favor do not go to this location the teenagers working their are rude and close the store early and refuse service. They refused to serve my wife who is battling a undisclosed illness not COVID 19 and it's like infuriating to me as a disabled veteran to be treated with no respect. My wife may have cancer and sometimes the smoothies are all she handle in a 24 hour period. It's a real shame that there are teens running around this location making up their own rules on when to close.
