It is hit or miss when it comes to customer service. We have experienced audible displeasure from staff when we come in as we tend to place large orders. Instead of being grateful for the patronage, some staff members have stated, "Oh no, not again!" Seriously! We have experienced staff members eating while ringing up our orders, and it generally makes us feel uncomfortable. We are not sure why some of the staff members take such an unprofessional stance. To be fair, not all staff suffer from a lack of customer service, which is why we continue to return. This is the ONLY reason 3 stars was given in place of 1. Overall, please do better! read more

Staff is always friendly and fast!! Even when there are new peeps in the mix, they work like a well oiled machine , moving every which way in unison. Vibe is always chill. Well, they got me again. Used Door Dash twice now for delivery of protect from Smoothie King. However, I didn't know it was from this location. Both times now my order has been cancelled because ingredients were unavailable. When I went it to talk to someone about the problem, I was told that I should call the location before putting in an order to ensure it's available. When I shared that I called when the order was cancelled but no one picked up, her response was that "there was only one girl working earlier and she was very busy." Oh wizened "Business Manager" of Smoothie King, can you answer that paradox for me? Who is going to answer my call to ensure you have the product before I use a 3rd party to pick up said product? It certainly won't be the manager or supervisor. They always seem to be unavailable, leaving a hapless teenager to take the brunt of my inquiries into the lack of service or product. Maybe if a Supervsior were in house there wouldn't be an employee parked in the SK parking space up front. And maybe there wouldn't be 4-5 missing ingredients on the board. You can say it's because you always keep fresh ingredients, but these aren't perishable items: keto powder, angel food cake, and PEANUT BUTTER!? I can accept fresh fruit being out of stock, but come on. And again, I have never seen this issue on the South Loop location. My order is always 100% and available when I get there. Their location is clean and bright, there the 105 location has sticky floors and a couple of wobbly tables. Just do better. Or at least show a modicum of improvement after getting so many negative reviews. And before your "fill-in-the-blank" response comes through, know that I already sent my feedback on your website. I want to like this place but they never have ingredients to make the bowls . They never have peanut butter . They need to properly cover ingredients because flies make their way in. They demand you wear a mask or order online but you can't until after 9. They say they are open at 7 am but never see. When you go in the employees are rude and don't care. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Worst customer service and workers are rude and not professional at all. They are not sanitary at all either. The first time I came here I got a smoothie from here felt something weird in my mouth, turns out there was plastic in my smoothie... workers don't wear gloves and touches fruit products ect after touching the money. The second time Called this location to ask if they could re make my smoothie because it tasted awful and not made correctly they told me once you walk out the store they can't remake my smoothie and offered a 10% off coupon for next time. Today me and my kids came in to order at 3:45. Two girls were at the register and didn't even look up to acknowledge us, and proceeded to count money from the cash register without saying a word to us for almost 10 minutes. Not sure who you guys are hiring now but it not only is making me uncomfortable but i'm sure other employees. When I came in saturday I was first startled with a sports announcer level of a greeting then, overheard a new girl (same one who greeted me) who I didn't recognize talking about being in her thirties. I don't see how hiring a thirty year old to work with a team of who i'd presume all under twenty is appropriate. Especially since I know some there who are in high school. Then there was a guy in front of me ordering, he asked for a green machine and the girl who normally works looked a little confused while saying "we don't sell that", then the new girl practically slammed her hand onto her shoulder being dramatic to then reveal he's thinking of a naked smoothie. I could see not only her uncomfortable but also the guy ordering. Once he's done and I come up she practically looks like she's being taken hostage, and i don't blame her. Seems that this location is consistent with bad customer service. I walk in looking at different items on the shelves, after selection I go to pay. (Zoe) never acknowledged me when I first walked in, finally rings me up and just stares at me but says nothing. Only words I hear from her is "do you want a reciept?" She proceeds to make my drink while I wait. Some time passes and i see her taking other orders, finally look over and see a drink sitting at pick up. Didnt know if it was mine or an online order. This is a Smoothie King... the prices are a bit higher then I'd like to pay but I also have got to have my smoothies. This location still does the frequent buyers card (which not all locations do not do) so you can save a little money there and by signing up for email coupons. Worst Smoothie King ive been to. First time, i had a punch card from the Lafayette location. I had free smoothie, but Conroe said it had to be from their location.
