Plus, the employees were friendly, available, and helpful; I felt very comfortable in this store. The prices were fully reasonable, too. Also, on a personal note: on my random visit to Nature's Alternative, I bought an obscure, regional supplement that ended up helping me in a significant way, when I'd otherwise not have known the stuff even existed -- some serendipity on my part, thanks to this store and the good folks there. I explained to them some of the items I was looking for and in return suggested target and harris teeter..all places I had been before looking for my items. I told them that it is important for me to support local businesses. I thanked them and wished them a good day. They were not helpful, friendly or inviting, they were short and rude and disrespectful. I felt as if they wanted me to leave, so I did. I was followed out of the door by the owner, then the ower came out of the door to see if I was gone, then waited for me to pull out the parking lot. I will spend my money elsewhere. I will not be going back.

They were out of stock of a couple but the lady helping me was very nice and offered other stores to try. There is a decent selection of organic and gluten free food and drinks. I moved away, and my area doesn't have a Vitamin Shoppe nearby. I was in town recently for work and decided to stop in- and it was just as impressive as I remembered. I bought a few bars as well as some Lenny and Larry's cookies. I think they're the only place in Florence that carries each variety. I prefer Vitamin Shoppe over the other big-box supplement store in Florence, as the employees here aren't out to make a sale and are super helpful if you don't know what you need. The selection of bars and sports nutrition products are great- including running fuels and recovery options like protein bars. I saw quite a few bar options there that I haven't seen in other stores. They also have a nice discount cart at the front of the store with products that will expire soon (usually about a month away), so always check that too. Vitamin Shoppe also has great sales and a FREE rewards program to earn points and coupons.

They are a bit pricey, but so very worth it!!! There are many things in David's shop, and if you're in doubt about something or have any questions, David is happy to help. I have picked up some lovely lavender oil there as well as some other things along the way. I have never had a complaint about any product from the Vitamin Shoppe, and have recommended it to many people over the last several years. I don't remember her name but she is an older woman who wears glasses. She has been very rude and dismissive with me both times. The first time she didn't even really acknowledge me and one she was done ringing everything up and I paid she just threw the receipt on the table for me to grab. That alone felt very unprofessional when that is really her only job to provide good customer service and ring customers up. This time I went today and she was checking me out. She said how are you and i said good how are you and she said nothing. She then started bagging up my fruit and when she handed me my first bag she said "here's your bag of a ton of fruit" in a sort of annoyed tone which I just laughed off. Then she started putting my stuff in a second bag which was like a pineapple and some soup and then dropped the grapes and the peaches from a height on top of everything almost throwing it in the bag which was pretty inconsiderate. I was truly impressed by the wealth of knowledge and wisdom shown by Mr. Wilbert. I learned about various herbal remedies and uses for various types of herbal medicines. Theses medications don't interfere with chemotherapy. Not only does Mr. Wilbert discuss the uses and dosage, he also supports the medicines with written information about the products to share with my mom. I was very surprised that no one has written a review about the Vitality Herbal Shop sooner. It's the closest spot in Cheraw to find exactly what you need to remedy what ales you naturally.
