By far THE WORST WORST SMOOTHIE KING!! I was in drive thru for MORE than 25 minutes and I'm not exaggerating and had to drive off couldn't wait any longer than that. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. The owner or who is in charge should do better because the staff could care less it seems. I get it's late but locking the doors and closing before your closed wether it's 15 mins before or not is poor customer service.

Sat apr 27 at 8pm The worker was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at me when we found out there was a misunderstanding with the order. I ordered a lean 1 vanilla sub blueberries for bananas and add frozen yogurt. Smoothie tasted bad was watery and tasted like bananas. after the first remake i asked her if she put bananas in it because it tasted like bananas again and she got an attitude and asked if i didn't want bananas in it and said i asked for it without protein for some reason (we didn't hear her correctly when she repeated the order i guess) but she was rude, told us thats what we ordered, like we dont know what we ordered? and said she repeated it twice, like ok it was a misunderstanding there's absolutely no reason to act so bothered about it especially when we mentioned nothing about protein so i don't know how she got that and i was trying to be nice with the situation but when i asked her to remake it (because it tasted horrible) she said remake it? Like thats not exactly what she's supposed to do? Her tone was condescending and ugly and no way to treat a customer. as someone who worked at smoothie king for almost 2 years i can understand a misunderstanding at the drive- thru but i also know that when a customer isn't satisfied we would have to remake it no ifs or buts so i was extremely disappointed to be treated like that when i know thats not the expectation. read more

Smoothies are never consistent. Sometimes they are thick like a milkshake or super thin like soup. The staff there is always extremely nice, and a few times they have redone my order, but I don't always have time to park and go in to get another one. They are the closest smoothie king to the house and the church, but if I have time, would prefer to go to the one in Humble or the other Smoothie king further down 1960 off Veterans Memorial. read more

It's Smoothie King and they make good smoothies I've visited about three times and can't quite put my finger on why this location has such a low rating so after visiting today, I'm adding this review. This is the one Smoothie King I've visited that doesn't have a ridiculous policy regarding purchasing a second cup and splitting your smoothie so that alone makes it my favorite one to visit. They allow you to purchase your smoothie along with an extra cup and don't mind pouring the smoothie in both cups for you. I've had franchises tell me that I couldn't buy a second cup because of how they track their sales, another venue let me buy a cup but made me pour my own second smoothie from the first cup because of their policy. ANNOYING. This particular location gives me what I want and I couldn't ask for anything more. I got a Caribbean Way from here today to celebrate $5 Friday and I'll definitely be visiting again soon. read more

I usually don't review drive-thru chains because you more or less know what you're getting when you go to one, but in my experience Smoothie King really seems to be hit or miss depending on which one you go to, and the mood of the people (or usually, single person) working there. I've had great experiences with some Smoothie Kings, such as the one next to Greenspoint Mall (opens early, great service, takes orders over the phone if you're in a rush, smoothies are consistently good, etc) This Smoothie King always tastes rather bland unfortunately, and it's the same person working up there as well. I don't know if it's a difference in how they make it, or the person making it, it's just always tastes lackluster here, which sucks considering how expensive Smoothie King can be. read more

This is by far the worst smoothie king ever . I came through the drive thru to get a gladiator and it tasted like water , asked for it to be made again because it tasted like water and this time it tasted like powder . I politely asked for my $7.69 back . I was left at the drive thru for about 10 minutes and then was informed that I need to come in or go back through the drive thru because they had other orders . I pulled around and one of the workers handed me $12.31 ( which was my change from the $20) I told him that he was giving me too much money and he apologized which i understood it was not his fault , heThe young lady at the drive thru window was very rude and nonchalant. Terrible service. I sat in the drive thru for at least five minutes before anyone came to take my payment just for them to try and tell me my card had insufficient funds when in reality, their system was down after trying another card. Guy working there was just plain rude. I asked if the kids drinks had sugar and he said no. I asked if any of them had milk and he said look at the menu it lists what's in them. I waited over 30 minutes in the drive through line and there were 2 cars in front of me. When I pulled up next to the window, they asked what my order was again! The people working here at night are just plain slow and don't care about helping the customers get in and out. Avoid this location at all costs! I usually go to the location on Cypresswood and 45 but traffic was so bad if I exited that it would have been a hassle to get there but it would have saved me 25 minutes because I'm in and out of that location in 5 minutes. Most Smoothie Kings hire competent people but the one on 1960 is atrocious. read more
